WHY THE SAME GUYS STAY ON TOP IN WWE, JAKE ROBERTS IN THE HOF, ROAD DOGG AS A COLOR COMMENTATOR AND MORE

First off, I love the site. Second, with Jake Roberts showing up on the 1/6 edition of RAW and looking much healthier than he has in a LONG time, do we see him in the HoF this year? If he has turned his life around, is it not time to recognize what he has done for the business?

I wouldn't surprised to see him in the Rumble and the HOF this year, provided he stays clean. There has definitely been talk of doing both. He has history in the Mid South area so he is a good fit for New Orleans.

With the WWE Network in full swing, do you think they'll make deals down the line with smaller regional promotions like Evolve or international promotions in Japan and provide coverage?

I don't see it happening any time soon with American independents. For one thing WWE wants to own everything that they air. For another, they want full control over the product. As for Japanese promotions, I guess it's possible down the line but I don't know that it's probably.

What do think about getting the past it King and unfunny JBL off commentary and replacing them with the Road Dogg? I always thought he was underrated on the mic and remember him doing commentary for a match or two in the attitude era and came across as a naturally funny guy.

I think he could be pretty good. He does have a souther accent though and Vince doesn't always like that. But I think Dogg could be very good if given the chance.

I've heard complaints from people regarding Orton vs Cena at the Rumble that we've seen this match all before. As far as I can remember, the very first time these 2 wrestled was on the Eddie Guerrero Raw tribute show in 2005, when Cena was WWE Champion and Orton was a feuding with Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. My question is, do you know of any company that has relied on the same 2 acts at the top of the card for 8 years plus? I know Hogan held the title briefly a decade after Hulkamania took off, but Vince was trying to use him to "pass the torch at least" and his run was coming to an end. Undertaker has been used sparingly as champion, and he has faced fresh opponents to keep his long run interesting. Is it possible for WWE to keep the same hero and villain in their same roles for so long without it becoming stale, and what does it say of their mindset that they clearly don't see an issue with it?

In a nutshell, Vince McMahon has not found many people that he trusts at the top of the card. The irony is that he doesn't trust people because they aren't over or he doesn't think they have "it" but he is the one that could put them in the position to get over.

Could you see Triple H putting a restriction on the Money in the Bank Ladder Match denying former champions from qualifying? Would this idea help the younger talent, or hurt the overall quality of the match?

Probably not, for the reason listed above. They have killed so many of the guys that they need the former champions for the credibility they add. Look at Damien Sandow, no one ever took him seriously with the case.
