During the presentation of the network they mentioned video on demand and classic footage available from WWE, WCW, and ECW. But when cable was running on demand they also had AWA, WCCW, and other territories. Do you think this is just a case where the network is new and they are still digitizing for streaming and these other territories will appear and be added as the year goes on?

No I think it's a case of saving things to add to the Network later to keep people subscribing. It's the smart way to go.

Is WWE still going to produce DVDs of PPV events or career retrospectives now with WWE network launching? I can't see any money being made there except in international markets where the network will not be available but that might not equate to much revenue.

Yes they are, at least for now. Once they are produced, pressing them on to DVDs is cheap. It's found money. Once the Network is available everywhere it could change to the point where they stop but for now they will be continuing as usual.

I think WWE finally won me back with the Network. I am very excited about the 80s and 90s content. But this also makes me very worried that this will be a huge blow to TNA. Do you think TNA will lose a lot of viewers who go back to WWE?

I don't think TNA has to be affected poorly by the Network. If the company can up their creative, they could actually benefit from the Network. Historically, when more people are interested in WWE, they tend to be more interested in the rest of the business. If TNA can ramp up the quality of their creative end, they could actually benefit by WWE's new venture.

Listening to Steve Austin's podcast, I hear him talk a lot about the influence Danny Davis had on him back in the territory days. Is this the same Danny Davis from mid-80s WWF (the bad-ref turned wrestler), and/or the same Danny Davis we hear about so often as relates to the current developmental system?

He is referring to the Davis that owns OVW.

The news on the WWE Network is outstanding, but let me play Devil's Advocate for a moment... I've been a pro wrestling junkie since 1988. So if I've got all this content at the push of a button, content that no one can deny is better than what's on right now, why would I waste 7 hours of my week watching the current product when I can spend that watching quality wrestling? Do you see this having an effect on ratings due to this reasoning??

As long as you are paying that 10 bucks a month, they will still get your money. Ratings may drop, but if WWE is selling millions of subscriptions they will deal with that problem when it happens.
