WILL WWE NETWORK DATA CHANGE HOW WWE RUNS THEIR PRODUCT, BRYAN DESTROYING THE WYATTS FROM WITHIN, NEW ECW PPVS ON THE NETWORK AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-01-11 10:00:00
Do you think Daniel Bryan accepting defeat and joining the Wyatt Family is a storyline where he is trying to destroy them from the inside out?

It's possible but if that was the case, the storyline might work better with say The Shield instead of the Wyatts. The Wyatts are awesome but they haven't been around long enough and been established enough for such a storyline to truly work in my opinion.

My question is about the WWE ramp. I was wondering, back in the attitude era, the ramp use to be longer, the aisle to the ring as well. If you take a look at the current WWE tv tapings, why is the entracne SO CLOSE to the ring? There are only 7 or 8 rows from the set to the ring these days. Back in the attitude era, there use to be 15-20. What changed? Is it a WWE production deal?

Just minor tweaks to the production. You also have to remember that every venue is different, so the production set up changes week to week. What works in Madison Square Garden won't work in Indianapolis and vice versa.

Do you expect a HUGE change in WWE after the launch of WWE Network? Cuz after that they will get stats of what people are watching, what they're fast-forwarding, what no one cares about, which matches are most viewed, what their age are, where they are from, and every stat like that.

I don't know about HUGE change but the company will have the absolute best data ever on their audience and they will certainly be analyzing that to figure out what's the best way to deliver the product their audience wants. That's good business and WWE, despite any flaws, wants to do the best business possible.

With the WWE Network, is it possible they will do specialty specials like an ECW One Night Stand again?

I am absolutely sure they will do specials on the Network - they have already announced a live NXT special, but I don't think we'll ever see another ECW PPV style show again.

Why can't WWE just have a regular channel on cable?

They will make more money this way.
