Do you think TNA letting AJ Styles slip away might have been the final straw that caused Jeff Jarrett to resign? The founder and the guy he originally built the promotion around both leaving within days of each other doesn't seem coincidental.
Nope but I think the change in philosophy and the way the company operated played a key role in both of them being gone.
On Raw a few weeks ago Triple H made a statement about Randy Orton being "the face of the company", and then proceeded to name Chris Jericho, Christian and Edge as three guys who "never quite got there". Now, I understand Hunter is playing the heel and so has to do heelish things, but because this statement was never rebuked or questioned by anyone on the show it was taken by the audience as fact. My question is, why do this? All 3 wrestlers are affiliated with WWE, 2 have DVD sets and Christian is still technically on the active roster. What sense does it make to damage the stock of wrestlers who, if the fans are invested in, make you money?
I am with you 100 percent. It's ridiculous to me to use a little heel heat, which isn't even needed, to disparriage guys that you can make money off of. It's like saying, "These guys were never that good, not buy their DVDs and/or care about the matches they have." Uh no, it doesn't work that way.
Daniel Bryan joins the Wyatt family?? Would you say this is the final blow for Bryan and the WWE title?
It certainly is for now. It takes him out of the picture after getting screwed out of the title for the last few months. Hopefully WWE can do a 180 and salvage it but I am losing faith in that happening.
With Lesnar and Batista back, and Orton and Cena at the top, do you think they will do some sort of angle or match involving these 4 OVW guys that all started and came up together?
Based on that storyline, I don't see it happening.
Where did the word "attraction" come from in regards of Big Show being one and Daniel Bryan NOT being one? Was it in some Triple H promo I missed or did Vince actually say it at some point?
Nope, it came from Vince McMahon himself on the stockholder conference call. He said SummerSlam had a disappointing buyrate because they didn't give the fans a good "attraction". So blame Vince.
