What is HHH and Vince's problem with indy wrestlers? It feels like these are the guys that get soured on first. But while superstars from other athletic backgrounds, bodybuilders, models so on and so forth who may not as be good get praised? Why crap on the guys whose dream it was to be a WWE superstar especially when they seem to have all the talent in the world?
He doesn't have one. He signs guys from the indys that he thinks have potential to become a WWE star. He doesn't sign guys he doesn't see a future in. That is his job. You may not agree with his assessment of talent, but it's his job and what he thinks matters the most. I respect that it's their dream but not everyone's dream comes true. It's just a fact of life.
The ending of the 12/16 Raw brought back memories of how Jeff Hardy got the strap in WWE… kind of like a “Yeah, we’re going to give you the belt, but we don’t think you’re credible enough, so let’s put you in a 3-way where you ‘luck out’ and walk out champ.†I know Bryan has done it on his own previously, but with Vince’s decision that he can’t be “the guy†do we end up seeing an upcoming PPV 3-way where Bryan only makes the cover for gold after Cena has done a majority of the work destroying Orton?
Should it ever happen that way? No. Could I see Vince McMahon thinking it's a good idea? Oh yeah.
So regarding the new policy about new talent going through NXT before coming up to the main roster, does that mean if WWE signed AJ Styles, he'd have to go to Florida first? What if they were lucky enough to sign Sting? Or if Angle or Bully Ray went back to WWE? Would they have to go through developmental too?
Obviously WWE reserves the right to do whatever they want with talent. If they signed Sting or Bully, there is no way I see them having to "go through developmental" nor do I see there being any way either man would agree to do so.
The Shield lose to one man on PPV, then beat the same man plus 2 others the next night on RAW. Is it just me or do you have a problem with this? Shouldn't it have been the other way around? (ie. Shield win vs. Punk and lose vs. Punk/Usos)?
WWE booking is often hard to comprehend. But keep in mind what happens on Raw is usually far more important than what happens on PPV.
What is the deal with WWE's infatuation with Eva Marie? Ok. She is pretty, but no more so than any of the other divas. All she is good for is drama. She clearly has no mike skills. She is not athletic. She should not be in the ring. She is clearly not ready for that. She is going to get hurt or hurt someone unintentionally. You can tell by the way she moves in the ring. How long do you see her lasting with no real wrestling skills? Why does she get pushed when there are so many other established female wrestlers who deserve that spot?
She plays a character on a reality show, and does it well, so there is a lot of value there. Being able to wrestle is hardly an important attribute for WWE where Divas are concerned. Sadly.
