WWE NXT 200 REPORT: LUMBERJACK MATCH; PITBULLS ANSWER THE OPEN CHALLENGE; MEMORIES OF EPISODES PAST; AND MORE

It was February 23, 2010 when a little show called NXT debuted. It has undergone a number of changes over the years and has produced a number of WWE Superstars as well as some guys who did not have too much success in WWE.

We begin with Triple H making his way to the ring.

Hunter says that as much as he appreciates people chanting for him, he would rather hear people chanting for NXT. Tonight we are here for an important reason. Tonight is the 200th episode of NXT. We are here at Full Sail University in Orlando and this is the home of NXT.

You have seen some amazing stuff over 200 episodes and some amazing talent come through here. Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, The Shield, and The Wyatts have all come through NXT.

Hunter is reminded by the crowd that Big E Langston is from NXT. With the Performance Center a few miles down the road. Over the next 200 episodes and beyond, this will get better and better. Hunter gives his word that when you come to these shows, they will be memorable every time.

This is where the future begins. The last thing he wants to say is that it has been 200 episodes. He wants to thank Full Sail and the people in the back, but he also wants to thank the people who come to NXT. Hunter tells them that this is your show. Hunter says that you did not come to see him talk so he wants to know if YOU ARE RRRRRRRRRRREADY

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Byron ‘I sound like Tom Phillips’ Saxton, Tom ‘I Sounds like Byron Saxton’ Phillips, and Tensai

Match Number One: Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd versus Leo Kruger and Antonio Cesaro

Kruger and Kidd start things off. Kruger with a kick to the midsection and a side head lock. Kruger with a shoulder tackle and he blocks a hip toss from Kidd, but Kidd with an arm drag into an arm bar. Zayn tags in and Kruger backs into his corner and he tags in Cesaro.

They struggle for position before locking up. Cesaro with a top wrist lock and he takes Zayn to the mat for a near fall but Zayn bridges up. Cesaro with a kick and punch and then he runs his leg wrap across the face.

Zayn with punches but Cesaro puts Zayn in the corner and punches him. Zayn with punches in the corner followed by a boot in the corner and then he climbs the turnbuckles to punch Cesaro. Zayn with a wrist lock and he tags in Kidd and Kid with a shoulder and a rollup for a near fall. Kidd with a side head lock.

Cesaro catches Kidd on a leap frog and hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and we go to commercial.

We are back and Kruger is warned by the referee while Cesaro kicks Kidd in the corner. Kidd with a kick and forearm to Kruger and then he kicks Kruger and gets a near fall with a rollup. Kruger catches Kidd and hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Cesaro tags in and he works on the ribs. Cesaro with a European uppercut.

Cesaro with a deadlift side salto and he gets a near fall. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Kidd with elbows but Cesaro backs him into the corner and he tags in Kruger. Kruger kicks Kidd and the referee warns him. Cesaro tags back in and they hit a double back elbow and Cesaro gets a near fall.

Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Kidd with an arm drag but Cesaro with a clothesline and then he kicks Zayn off the apron. Kruger tags in and he drops an elbow and gets a near fall. Kruger with a reverse chin lock. Kidd with elbows and Kruger with a forearm. Cesaro tags in.

Kidd with a kick to Cesaro and then Kruger charges at him but Kidd drops down and Kruger goes over the top rope to the floor. Cesaro misses a splash into the corner. Kruger tags in and he keeps Kidd from making the tag. Kidd sends Kruger into the ropes and Zayn is tagged in.

Zayn with clotheslines and a leg lariat. Zayn knocks Cesaro off the apron and then he gives Kruger and elbow and kick in the corner followed by a cross body for a near fall. Zayn charges into the corner but Kruger gets his knee up. Kruger tries for the Slice but Zayn counters with a Blue Thunder Driver for a near fall and Cesaro breaks up the cover.

Kidd comes in and Cesaro sends him to the apron. Kidd hip tosses Cesaro over the top rope to the floor. Kidd with a tope con hilo onto Cesaro. Zayn with a Yakuza kick for the three count.

Winners: Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd

We go to the back where Natalya is watching a monitor and Emma dances her way into the picture. Natalya tells Emma she almost poked her eye out. Emma wants to know how she could interrupt the big reality star. Natalya says that she is watching Tyson’s match. Emma says that she is having fun and it appears that someone has changed now that they are famous. Someone doesn’t have time for the little people down in NXT unless they get a title match against Paige.

Natalya wants to know what Emma is talking about. She says that Emma became a number one contender through a dance off. Natalya says that Emma must think that she doesn’t deserve anything. Emma says dancing is in her blood. Natalya says that wrestling is in her blood.

Natalya tells Emma that if she wants to dance so much, they can tango and see who is deserving of being the number one contender to face Paige.

Emma accepts the challenge and we have a battle of the superlatives.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the debut episode of NXT and we see footage from Daniel Bryan against Chris Jericho.

We see footage from a Meet and Greet that was held before these tapings.

Match Number Two: Sasha Banks (with Summer Rae) versus Paige in a Non Title Match

Paige grabs Sasha by the hair and pulls her around the ring. Sasha with a series of slaps to Paige but Paige sends Sasha to the apron. Summer distracts Paige and that allows Sasha to pull Paige against the ropes. Sasha chokes Paige and stomps her in the corner.

Paige with an elbow and Sasha with a reverse chin lock after leaping on Paige’s back. Sasha takes Paige to the mat. Paige gets to her feet and she runs Sasha into the corner to get out of the hold. Sasha with a slap to Paige and then she tries for an arm drag using the ropes but Paige pulls Sasha off the ropes to the mat.

Paige with a series of three short arm clotheslines to Sasha followed by a drop kick. Summer trips Paige when the referee did not look. Paige moves and Sasha kicks Summer by accident. Paige with a kick and the Paige Turner for the three count.

Winner: Paige

Enzo Amore is in the back with Colin Cassady and Enzo is in a wheelchair. He says that he has a bulldog lawyer in Manhattan and the place was not handicap accessible.

There is singing in the background and Aiden English is in the corner singing.

Aiden says that some day he will be on the bright stages of Broadway singing to the rafters while they will be taking tickets.

Enzo says that putting a mic in his hand and belching into a mic makes you a singer as much as standing in a garage makes you a car. Enzo says that his man Big Cass has pipes.

Aiden asks if Enzo thinks that Colin is a better singer. He suggests a singing competition to determine who the true talent is.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage from the debut of NXT at Full Sail for episode 122.

Match Number Three: K’Onor and Viktor versus The American Pitbulls (John Cahill and Derek Billington) in an Ascension Open Challenge Match

Viktor and Billington start things off and they lock up. Viktor sends him into the turnbuckles but Billington escapes. Billington with a waist lock and wrist lock. Viktor with a shoulder and Irish whip but Billington avoids a clothesline and he sends Viktor to the mat with an arm wringer and he gets a near fall.

Cahill tags in he goes up top and connects with a double sledge to the arm. K’Onor tags in and he kicks Cahill and works on the shoulder. Cahill with a reversal but K’Onor with a punch. Billington makes the blind tag and they hit a double Japanese arm drag on K’Onor. Viktor charges at them but Cahill ducks down and Viktor goes over the top rope to the floor.

K’Onor with a flapjack to Billington and he kicks Billington. K’Onor sends Billington into the turnbuckles and Viktor tags in and he punches Billington and follows with a European uppercut. Viktor goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Billington tries to escape the hold but he cannot flip over and he lands on his head.

Viktor gets a near fall. Viktor with a European uppercut and he tries for another belly-to-back suplex and Billington is able to land on his feet. Viktor grabs the leg and Billington misses an enzuigiri, but he does not miss a mule kick.

Cahill tags in and he punches Viktor. Cahill with back elbows and he knocks K’Onor down on the apron. Cahill with a flying boot to the head but K’Onor breaks up the cover. K’Onor goes to the floor and so does Viktor thanks to Cahill. Cahill and Billington with stereo suicide dives.

Cahill gets a near fall on Viktor. Billington tags in and he goes up top and hits a diving head butt for a near fall. Viktor with a flying boot to Billington and then K’Onor tags in and they hit Fall of Man for the three count.

Winners: K’Onor and Viktor

After the match, Hunico and Camacho make their way to the ring and K’onor and Viktor give Cahill a double hip toss into an elevated slam and then they hit The Fall of Man on him.

Devin Taylor is in the back with Kofi Kingston. She asks him how it feels to be at NXT for the first time. Kofi says that he has always wanted to come to NXT. It means a lot to be part of the 200th episode. Lana interrupts the interview and she says something about Alexander Rusev. Kofi says the he does not understand her.

She says that Alexander Rusev vants to CRUSH him in the ring next week.

Kofi says that does not back down from any challenges so he accepts the match for next week.

We go to commercial.

We are back and next week we will take a look back at the past year in NXT and see who made it from NXT to the main roster, the people who visited NXT, the pick for Match of the Year, and we will see William Regal versus Antonio Cesaro.

Howard Finkel is in the ring to do the introductions for the main event.

Match Number Four: Bo Dallas versus Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship in a Lumberjack Match

They lock up and Adrian backs Bo into the corner and Adrian with a clean break. They lock up again and Bo with a knee and he tries to send Neville to the floor but Neville with a handspring and a leg lariat to Dallas and Bo goes to the floor but he is sent back into the ring. Neville with a rollup and Backlund bridge for a near fall. Dallas with punches to Neville. Neville punches back and Bo with a forearm to the back and to the head.

Neville is sent to the floor and Tyler Breeze tries to send Neville back into the ring but that is not a good idea. Neville slaps Breeze and Neville returns to the ring. Neville with an arm drag into an arm bar as we go to commercial.

We are back with an NXT Moment with comments from Seth Rollins about becoming the first NXT Champion on episode 132.

We are back with the match and Dallas backs Neville into the corner and Bo with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot from Neville. Neville with a series of kicks to the chest. Bo begs for mercy and Neville misses a round kick and Bo sends Neville to the floor.

The lumberjacks send Neville back into the ring and Dallas with knees and he gets a near fall. Dallas with a cravate. Neville gets to his feet but Dallas sends him back to the mat. Neville gets back to his feet and he punches Dallas. Dallas with a slam but Neville with a kick to the head and Dallas goes down.

Bo with a kick to the knee and then to the head for a near fall. Bo with a series of back elbows to the head. Bo tells everyone to never stop BoLieving and Bo with a lariat and he gets a near fall. Bo with a side head lock and he tries for the bulldog out of the corner. Neville with a series of kicks to the leg followed by a flying forearm and a back elbow. Neville with a kick to the head followed by a drop kick to the temple for a near fall.

Bo with an elbow but Neville with a kick to the head followed by an enzuigiri and a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Neville with a slam and he goes to the apron and then up top for the Red Arrow but Bo rolls to the floor. The lumberjacks keep Bo from trying to escape. Neville with a flip dive onto the lumberjacks and Bo and everyone falls like dominos.

Neville brings Dallas back into the ring and he goes up top for Red Arrow but one of the lumberjacks distracts the referee and that allows Tyler Breeze to pull Dallas out of the way and Neville misses his target. Bo gets the three count.

Winner: Bo Dallas

After the match, Bo leaves the ring and goes up the ramp while the lumberjacks are still down from the Neville dive during the match.
