After just seeing RAW with D. Bryan stealing the closing segment what do you think- Cena wins TLC match to unify titles and offers Bryan match but DB wants to earn the shot and goes to the Rumble which he wins to set up Mania main event rematch with Cena. Bryan wins main event at Mania.
I am typing this on Sunday, before the PPV, but I would love that. Bryan earning the shot would be great, he could even say that he never got to give Cena a rematch so he wants to earn his. WWE has dropped the ball a lot creatively lately. The fans are giving them a second chance to do right by Bryan. I hope they make the best of it.
Why does WWE claim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt dates all the way back to 1905 & includes the WCW Championship history in it? If memory serves correctly doesn't it date back to 2002 when Brock Lesnar went to Smackdown with the WWE Championship?
Yes, they have pretty much changed history to say it's the former Title.
Do you think that TNA is really going to close?
I don't see them closing any time soon. They have made the recent moves to help make the company less costly.
What do you think the possibility of WWE Creative getting together and collectively quitting or putting an ultimatum together that basically says to Vince, HHH, and Steph: Enough is enough, we need to plan long term, let us push who the fans want at the top, etc. or we quit, leaving Vince with no writers. I can't seriously blame creative when it seems like it's the McMahon clan who are constantly changing things. How can we blame creative if Vince tells just hours before the show, "nope, we're going to do this now"?
I think I have a better chance of giving birth to quintuplets than that ever happening. That is just not how things work in WWE. Vince would let them all walk and would just put TV together with his trusted top people.
So,... A unification title match? Wasn't the whole idea to run Smackdown and Raw as separate promotions? I know the answer will come back that there aren't enough guys over to run two promotions under the WWE banner. But can we honestly say there aren't enough workers to make it happen? With all the talent there couldn't this have been done? Develop more or better, or hey just even so e good story lines on each show with their respective rosters? WM could then be treated as a Super Bowl for both shows. It may be to late now to pull this off, but wasn't this within the realm of possibility?
Oh, they absolutely COULD have two touring brands if creative had done a better job of pushing talent the last five years or so, for sure. But, they haven't so this is what they have to deal with. If they are smart, they will learn from the past and put emphasis on creating new stars....for real not just when they give talking points in presentations.
