I read a comment from Bully Ray recently where he felt that the wrestling world is primed for a more edgier product. This got me thinking about how wrestling used to be.What happened to long old school feuds. These feuds were built up as the evil heal would do all sorts of nasty acts, in other words they built up huge heat. The fans could not wait for the face to take care of the heal. The business worked so much better when the wrestling and action were the main attraction. The promos they did were only designed to build up more heat. The heals said things that don't seem to be said today, much edgier like Bully Ray wants They truly seemed like the kind of people you did not want to meet. The faces protected the good of the fans. It was so simple but it worked. There was no stupid soap opera style of today, where there is too much backstage story and nowhere near enough action. TNA is supposed to mean Total Nonstop Action. Give this to the fans and you will truly be unique. Do you feel something this simple is what could elevate TNA? They have an amazing and talented roster. Please just use it.

I think it's worth a try by TNA and have been lobbying that they do it for a while now. The bottom line is that they are not going to beat WWE at their own game so they shouldn't even try. They should try to differentiate their product by being unique. The business will never be what it was due to change but I think TNA would be wise to try and focus more on the sports aspect of the business and less on the "entertainment".

Last week's RAW (21 Oct.) was, barring the last segment and the stuff with Elvistino, a really good show for a wrestling fan. Yet the audience numbers dropped. When they don't do much in the way of good wrestling (or any wrestling), the numbers tend to go higher. I don't understand this. Has WWE finally changed the paradigm so the fans want less wrestling and more, well, fluff?

I think WWE has definitely changed the landscape of what wrestling is to most people. With that said, it is hard to say exactly why people tuned out of Raw as the show went on. Was it the actual wrestling? Was it more of Triple H and Stephanie? Was it because WWE has has done a bad job in getting people over? It could be a mix of both.

Guys, after Triple H's comments on Daniel Bryan last week on Raw, do you think The Undertaker has the authority to say 'I want Bryan as my WM opponent or I won't compete at all'? Since HHH said, Undertaker would pick him over someone like Bryan it'd be great to hear the bell, see Taker enter the ring, get into H's face and tell him he wants Daniel cause he's the best they've got right now (yeah I know, there are a lot good guys on the roster...). Maybe this could save Bryan out of that screwed up storyline? Or do you think WWE would keep Taker out of Mania if he just didn't want to wrestle someone else (like Orton, Triple H or whoever they want him to wrestle)?

It would never come to that. If Taker wanted to work against Bryan and asked Vince McMahon for that match, he would get it unless Vince really had something big planned that he couldn't change. He has that kind of respect from Vince.

I was wondering why we never see any women's matches in the cage at Hell in the Cell. I'm sure I'm in the minority of people wanting to see less "Divas" and more solid wrestling from the women's division but I personally would love to see it. Would women's cage matches go against the more family friendly WWE or does Vince think that no one wants to see an aggressive women's match?

WWE doesn't see their women in that way. They don't like them to be in those kinds of situations.

My question is regarding Chris Jericho's response to Triple H's comments about Daniel Bryan on the 10/21 edition of Raw.. Do you think Jericho was dead on in responding that H belongs in that category as well because he was never really the face of the WWE, in 2000 it was Austin and Rock and even after I don't recall Triple H being " The Man" but being just one of the top performers?

I think that case could definitely be made.
