I love the site, thanks for all you guys do. My question is do you think Hulk Hogan is the most recognized person in the world? I say that because every one I talk to even people who don't like or never watched wrestling know who he is. I really think him and Muhammad Ali are the two most recognized faces in the world.
Hogan is certainly recognizable but there is no way I would say he is the most in the world.
In five years Cena and Orton will be about 40. Taker, Kane, Show and others will be retired. Who are going to be the top guys? With the way they push a guy then drag him down ( Miz , Ziggler, Etc.) I don't see a potential main eventer. Doesn't this worry Vince or HHH?
I have no idea what the answer is, as I feel like you do. They have done a poor job of elevating talent. I think HHH gets it. Vince I think feels he can make a top guy whenever he wants, but that is just my opinion.
Not that I like that John Cena was injured, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but it felt nice not to having his goofy mug on Raw every week. I also feel like the story with Daniel Bryan would benefit greatly if Cena was not around to suck all the air out of the room. Despite his quick recovery, do you think WWE should have held John Cena out of action longer?
Well, I think if they did a better job of creating talent they would not have needed him to come back but since they didn't, and people were tuning out of TV they felt they didn't have a choice. They felt they needed him for both interest as well as buys for Hell In A Cell. So back he comes.
Did the Brawl for All shift to a work after Bart Gunn knocked out Dr. Death?
Nope.
I am watching Renee Young on NXT. I have seen her doing interviews on WWE and was previously ambivalent about her work. I really like her on the announcing team. I am starting to become a big fan. She is witty and feminine but not too girly. Jmo, but she is a diamond starting to shine.
I like her too. I think she brings a lot to the table.
