WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: JUSTIN GABRIEL VERSUS FANDANGO; DAMIEN SANDOW VERSUS R TRUTH; AND THE WYATT FAMILY VERSUS PRIME TIME PLAYERS

We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota and your announcers are Josh ‘Is that Arik Cannon’ Mathews and Alex ‘No wonder we are out of PBR’ Riley.

Match Number One: Fandango (with Summer Rae) versus Justin Gabriel

Fandango does some dancing with himself before locking up with Justin. Gabriel with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Fandango goes to the floor to regroup. Fandango returns to the ring and Gabriel with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Fandango with a drop toe hold into a front face lock but Gabriel escapes and he applies a hammer lock and then he gets a near fall.

Gabriel with a front face lock and Fandango backs Justin into the ropes and Fandango with a knee and punches. Gabriel with a chop but Fandango chops back. Fandango sends Gabriel into the turnbuckles and he punches Gabriel. Fandango with a wrist lock followed by a fireman’s carry.

Fandango blocks a hip toss and Gabriel with a counter. Fandango with a snap mare but Gabriel lands on his feet. Gabriel and Fandango exchange chops. Gabriel with forearms and Fandango retreats to the floor again. Fandango returns to the ring and he shows the fans that he can dance despite their doubts.

They lock up and Fandango with a waist lock and Gabriel with an escape and side head lock. Fandango with a punch and European uppercut. Gabriel with a drop kick and Fandango goes to the floor again. Gabriel with a plancha onto Fandango and we go to commercial.

We are back and Gabriel is sent to the apron but Gabriel with a kick. Fandango pushes Gabriel off the turnbuckles to the floor. Fandango with a neck breaker on the floor and he returns to the ring. Gabriel gets back into the ring before the ten count and Fandango with punches to Gabriel.

Fandango with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Fandango with a reverse chin lock. Gabriel with punches and he tries for a sunset flip but Fandango does not go over and he punches Gabriel before getting a near fall. Fandango chokes Gabriel in the ropes and then he sends him into the turnbuckles again. Fandango with punches to Gabriel. The referee warns Fandango.

Fandango with a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Fandango with a seated abdominal stretch but he turns it into a reverse chin lock. Gabriel with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down. Fandango misses a charge into the corner and Gabriel with kicks to Fandango.

Gabriel flips over Fandango and he hits a spinning heel kick followed by a clothesline. Gabriel with a cross body into the corner and Gabriel with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Gabriel with a rollup on Fandango for a near fall. Gabriel runs into a boot from Fandango and Fandango with an enzuigiri followed by a spinning heel kick and he gets a near fall.

Fandango with a waist lock and he goes for a German suplex but Gabriel lands on his feet. Fandango with a kick to avoid a German suplex from Gabriel and Fandango gets a near fall. Fandango goes up top and he hits the FandangoBama Jam for the three count.

Winner: Fandango

We are back and Damien Sandow has something to say to the people of Minneapolis. Today he is going to talk about the truth. The truth is that Cody Rhodes has been justifiably terminated. He is now at home sitting on his couch crying. The truth is that he is everyone’s uncrowned world champion.

Damien demands SILENCE.

The truth is that R Truth’s days are numbered. One by one, he will decimate his opponents until he reaches the apex of his profession . . . when he cashes in his Money in the Bank contract.

Damien tells everyone they are welcome.

Match Number Two: R Truth versus Damien Sandow

Truth wants to know what’s up while Damien demands silence. Truth with a side head lock and Sandow tries to get out of the hold by sending Truth off the ropes but Truth holds on. Sandow with a forearm but Truth with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Truth with a side head lock take down. Sandow escapes.

Truth with a back slide for a near fall. Sandow demands a time out. Truth with another side head lock and take down. Truth with a rollup for a near fall. Sandow with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Truth with an inside cradle for a near fall.

Sandow with a kick to the midsection followed by a punch to the head. Sandow with an Irish whip and Truth with a float over. Truth tries for a punch but Sandow gets out of the way and he goes to the floor to stop Truth’s momentum.

Truth goes to the floor and Sandow returns to the ring first and he kicks Truth. Sandow with a head butt to Truth followed by a snap mare and forearm for a near fall. Sandow with a reverse chin lock. Truth gets back to his feet and he punches Sandow but Sandow with a forearm. Truth with a hip toss and then he does a split before going for the shimmying leg drop. Truth clotheslines Sandow over the top rope to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Sandow gets a near fall after a neck breaker. Sandow runs the laces of his boot across Truth’s face. Truth with punches to Sandow. The referee warns Truth. Sandow with a kick and a shoulder in the corner. Sandow with an Irish whip and Truth tries to float over but Sandow catches him and he sends Truth to the apron and then he knocks Truth off the apron with a shoulder.

Sandow runs Truth’s back into the apron and then he connects with a forearm to the head and then he returns to the ring and he chokes Truth. Sandow with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Sandow with boots to the ribs followed by a knee drop. Sandow with a body scissors. Truth with elbows but Sandow with punches and kicks.

Truth with a kick and punches to Sandow. Sandow sends Truth through the ropes and to the floor. Sandow goes to the floor and he brings Truth back in. Sandow with knees and a side Russian leg sweep followed by the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow gets a near fall. Sandow with a back breaker and he kicks Truth.

Sandow goes to the middle rope for a moonsault and he misses when Truth rolls out of the way. Truth with a clothesline or two. Truth with a head scissors followed by a leg lariat and he gets a near fall. Truth misses the scissors kick and Sandow with a near fall on a roll up.

Sandow misses the flip neck breaker and Truth with a scissors kick but he can only get a two count. Sandow with a kick to Truth and he hits the Edgecution but he can only get a near fall. Sandow goes for Terminus but Truth counters and gets a near fall with an O’Connor Roll. Truth with the Lie Detector for the three count.

Winner: R Truth

After the match, Sandow reminds us that he is still our uncrowned World Champion.

We take a look at Cody Rhodes’ final day in WWE.

We are told that Triple H will hold a town hall meeting on Smackdown this week.

Match Number Three: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (with Bray Wyatt) versus Darren Young and Titus O’Neil

Titus and Rowan start things off. Titus slaps the mask off Rowan and Rowan with forearms and punches. Titus with a kick and punches followed by a European uppercut. Titus floats over in the corner and he connects with a kick and Titus barks. Titus with punches and a European uppercut. Rowan with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Rowan with head butts to Titus.

Harper tags in and he connects with elbow drops and then he punches Titus. Harper with European uppercuts to Titus followed by a kick and forearms. Harper with a boot to the head. Harper with a near fall. Harper with a reverse chin lock on Titus. Titus backs Harper into the corner and Young tags in.

Young with punches and a clothesline. Young with an overhead belly-to-belly throw and then he knocks Rowan down on the apron. Young with a clothesline into the corner. Titus takes care of Rowan and sends him to the floor. Harper with a boot to Young and then Rowan sends Titus into the ringside barrier. Harper with a discus clothesline and he gets the three count.

Winners: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

After the match, Bray Wyatt makes his way into the ring and he looks at Darren and then grabs Darren and kisses him on the forehead before hitting Sister Abigail.
