WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: IS THE MAIN EVENT FORESHADOWING WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON SUNDAY?; PAUL HEYMAN ADDRESSES CM PUNK; BRAY WYATT SPEAKS; HAVE THE SHIELD MET THEIR MATCH THIS TIME?; AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2013-08-16 22:00:52
We are in San Jose, California and your announcers are Michael ‘SummerFest is coming’ Cole and John ‘I would climb a mountain to wrestle at SummerSlam’ Layfield.

Michael Cole’s run down of the show is interrupted by the Wyatt Family telling us that they are here. They make their way to the ring in a close formation.

We see a video package of Bray Wyatt attacking Kane to set up their match on Sunday. Then we see Kane’s response to set up the Ring of Fire Match. Then we get the dueling laughter of doom and destruction.

Bray is in the ring so it is time for the lantern to go off. He says hello to everyone. He introduces himself and he says that the people sitting behind him (or standing) are his brothers . . . Harper and Rowan. He says that their actions have been misinterpreted.

Bray says that he has a special story for everyone. Once upon a time there was a special little boy. He went to school like the rest of the children, but children can be so cruel. Even though this little boy was bigger than the other children, he would cower to their harsh words. They would call him freak and beat him up. They would send him home every day with tears down his face for being himself.

Then one day that little boy decided to change the world. Instead of changing the world, he ran away and found a crutch to hide behind. It was a crutch that gave him power and let him be what he could be. It was a mask. Behind that mask, he gave himself a new name . . . Kane.

Behind the mask, he started to live his life and everyone ate it up for no reason. He says no more lies because he knows who he is and what he is. He says that he walks on water just to prove that he can. He bites the head off a snake to taste its poison. On Sunday, in the City of Angels, he will prove to the monster, one man’s hell is one man’s paradise.

Bray says to Follow the Buzzards.

Kane’s pyro goes off but he does not come from the back. Kane pulls Rowan out of the ring and he sends Erick into the ring post. He sends Harper into the ring steps.
