MORE ON ARREST OF FORMER WWE DEVELOPMENTAL TALENT FOR MURDER

By Mike Johnson on 2013-07-25 13:40:23
The Associated Press picked up the story of former WWE Developmental wrestler Brian "DT Porter" McGhee being apprehended for allegedly stabbing and killing a woman now identified as his ex-girlfriend, 25-year-old Bianca McGaughey.

Initial reports indicated McGaughey was McGhee's girlfriend, but the AP article states that authorities believe she was a former girlfriend that McGhee had remained in contact with. McGhee allegedly stabbed her in the neck and torso areas.

McGhee allegedly stabbed McGaughey outside her apartment complex. He was pursued by police and according to the AP article, refused to leave his vehicle after crashing it and being instructed to surrender by authorities. A police dog was used to finally force McGhee out of the vehicle.

McGhee was released from a local hospital and brought to Pasco County Jail on Thursday morning. He will be charged shortly with first-degree murder.

As noted early this morning on PWInsider.com, McGhee's Facebook page was updated with what appeared to be a photo of a bloody arm and a status that read, "Didnt (sic) know I had it in me...bitch isfdead (sic)... arip (sic).. I'm next. No jail for meeee bbay(sic)"

McGhee was under contract with WWE from December 2010 through August 2012 as a developmental talent. Friends that contacted PWInsider.com today noted that he was "never the same" after his time in developmental and was increasingly frustrated by his experiences there.

McGhee injured his knee while training and underwent at least two surgeries during his time under contract. He finally returned to the ring in June 2012 and was left go just two months later in August of that year.

In May 2012, just a few months before he was released from his WWE deal, McGhee allegedly posted the following on his Facebook page while complaining about his frustrations about being signed and being out of action with his knee injury:

"Guys, I don't know how much longer I can handle this. Every day is a constant struggle to keep my sanity. I love wrestling and it's all I ever wanted to do. Already going crazy since I've been for like ten months now, but it gets worse. Every day a trainer goes out of his way to rib or disrespect me in front of the boys because I've been out so long. I can't clear myself. I wanna wrestle more than anything, but I don't even know who I am anymore. It's so f--king hard. I just feel it just building inside of me and I don't know how much longer I can contain it. I have daydreams of just f--king everyone up on some real s--t. I'm not a kid. I'm a f--king man. But what do you do when the people in charge of helping you get to the main roster are the ones making your life the hardest. I've been drinking almost every day. It's to the point to where I keep Vodka and Gin in my trunk. Help me!"

Shortly after his comments were published publicly, McGhee claimed that his Facebook account had been hacked.
