ERIC YOUNG & ZEMA ION HEALTH UPDATES

Eric Young, who may or may not still be the TNA Knockouts Tag Team champion, successfully underwent his 16th throat surgery to remove polyps yesterday. Young noted on Twitter he is doing well and the next season of his Off the Hook: Extreme Fishing will debut on 6/14 on Animal Planet.

Chicago area Lucha Libre promotion GALLI announced today their 6/9 event will be benefit event for TNA star Zema Ion, who is recovering from appendicitis and will require at least one other surgery. For details, visit www.luchalibrechicago.com. As of yet, TNA has not publicly acknowledged they would be assisting Ion, a former X-Division champion.
