If he keeps going in a good direction, do you see Jake Roberts in the WWE as a manager? His promos used to be great and he could be a mouthpiece for a lot of guys.

His promos were indeed great but I am not sure being on the road every week would be a good thing for him.  With a lot of addicts, a structured, predictable environment works a lot better for them.  Plus, as a PG company using someone with Jake's background could cause the company problems.  I don't see it happening, at least not at this time.

I was thinking the other day, given Raws 3 hours now & there have been some longer matches lately. Wouldn't it make sense to use Time Limit again as a way to protect the current wrestlers & stop the trend of losing for months & end up winning a title? A draw for example would at times be a perfect way to continue a feud into a PPV without hurting either wrestler.

WWE just booked a Last Man Standing match where one guy was standing and another wasn't, yet he didn't win.  I would hate to see what they would do with time limits. And honestly, draws are a cop out finish to me. You can book a guy to lose and still keep him strong.  WWE just has to remember how they used to do it.

Just curious, did a more elaborate John Cena Wrestlemania entrance get canned for time constraints?

Not that I heard of.  And given the "he's going for redemption" theme, it wouldn't have made much sense if they did it.

This is a follow-up question to the one you guys answered regarding video packages and timing (on 4/16/2013). My question is this: what's the point of video packages on PPVs? I mean, I can understand having them on the weekly shows for people who don't tune in all the time, or people who are trying to come back to wrestling, but wouldn't you think that the people who buy the PPV, or go to the show itself, are already caught up with all the myriad storylines and feuds by that point? Hell, with all the video packages they do on every show you could probably be caught up just watching RAW and Smackdown on the week before the PPV! What gives? Is this just a way to get the ring ready, or to make sure all the individuals involved in the upcoming match have time to get their cues and moves right? Do they really need that time after having spent the better part of a week working through it?

I have said the exact same thing.  You don't have to plug a show to people that bought it.  In part, they do it for changeovers between matches but they also think it's dramatic to recap the "great" feuds that they have booked to bring us to the point of the match.  I don't think are needed at all but Vince disagrees.

In your last Q&A their was a question about The Rock being the only African American wrestler to win the WWE/F title in history. Do you think based off the demographic of the WWE universe African America's are a tougher sell as the top guy in the company?

I don't think so. Let's be real here, there haven't been many guys booked as true top guys in the last few years.  We have had Cena, Punk (who forced his way in) and Rock.  One out of three is African American!  Sure, they have botched the pushes of a lot of black guys but they have done the same with a lot of white guys too.
