WWE SIGNS DEAL WITH YAHOO FOR ONLINE PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING RAW PRE-GAME SHOW

WWE and Yahoo.com announced a new partnership at its Newsfront event in NYC this evening. WWE was represented by Big Show and Stephanie McMahon at the event for the announcement.

An official press release will certainly be coming, but the highlights of the announcement were:

*Yahoo.com will launch a WWE hub/channel this summer.

*The section will feature an exclusive WWE Raw pre-game show (likely similar to what has been on the WWE App, if not the same stream)

*There will be a live pre-show for every WWE PPV event (again, likely the existing stream that had been on Youtube and the WWE App)

*The Yahoo WWE channel will also feature historical clips, TV show highlights, interviews, etc.

WWE had a similar partnership with Youtube, but after one year, the deal expired and was not renewed.
