RING OF HONOR TELEVISION REPORT: IS STEEN DONE WITH SCUM?; TELEVISION TITLE MATCH; BENNETT/STRONG; THE ANTE HAS BEEN UPPED FOR BORDER WARS

By Richard Trionfo on 2013-04-20 18:14:30
We move closer to Border Wars and Jay Briscoe’s first defense on iPPV against Adam Cole. What else will be announced for the show and what will SCUM do this week since they are allowed back in the building after last week’s ‘ROH Only’ show.

We are in New York City and your announcer is Kevin Kelly.

The former World Champion makes his way to the ring and he looks very somber as he gets ready to talk to the crowd, after being showered with streamers.

Steve Corino starts to talk before Kevin can say anything. Steve wants to know why Kevin doesn’t return calls, texts, or e-mails. He understands what happened and that losing the title to Jay Briscoe was a hit to his ego. Steve says that is okay because the mission to kill Ring of Honor still remains. He tells Kevin not to worry about what he lost. He needs to remember what they are all about.

Kevin appreciates Steve’s jacket. Steve has been interrupting Kevin all the time. Kevin says that the mission to kill Ring of Honor was a good idea, but since Jim Cornette has left, this company is okay.

He says that he has more respect for Steve Corino than anyone he has encountered in pro wrestling. The only mission he has and the only plan that he has is to earn another shot at the Ring of Honor World Title.

The members of SCUM make their way through the crowd and surround the ring.

Steve tells Kevin he loves him like a brother. The ROH World Title is something that SCUM needs, but maybe it is not on Kevin who they need it on. Maybe the focus needs to change.

Kevin says that he would follow Steve through hell. When it started, it was the two of them and Jimmy. Steve did some things he did not get. There are parts of the plan he can adjust to, but there is one that he cannot and it is that motherf***er (as he points to Matt Hardy).

Steve wants to know how Kevin can disrespect Matt Hardy. He tells Kevin never to raise his voice to Matt Hardy. Steve says that they are not on the same page any more. It is time that they go their separate ways.

The members of SCUM enter the ring and Kevin says that he agrees. There are two ways to do it. They can walk out of the ring and never deal with each other, or they can start something everyone is going to regret.

Steve tells Kevin that he cannot let him walk through the curtain so it is going to be option two.

Steen goes after Hardy and then the rest of the gang pounces on Steen.

Security and officials try to help Steen but that does not work.

Steve tells them to back away and let Kevin have the dignity that he deserves. Steve tells ‘Jesus’ to do his work. Matt hits a Twist of Fate on Steen.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mike Mondo has joined Kevin at the announce table.

Rhett Titus and Rhino join in the assault and Steve Corino enters the ring. They throw Thomas out of the ring and then Rhino GORES Santi.

Steve says that he wanted to come out here and make it perfectly clear that Kevin Steen and the situation that happened a little while ago does not take away from SCUM’s focus. They will destroy Ring of Honor. They just destroyed Kevin Steen and you will probably never see his ugly face again.

Nigel McGuinness comes out and he is flanked by officials. Nigel tells Steve to shut his mouth. His days of running roughshod over Ring of Honor are finished. SCUM is dissolving.

Steve reminds Nigel that their numbers have grown. Corino says that he created Kevin Steen and he destroyed Kevin Steen. This is his plan and mission. He is the voice of reason.

Nigel has some guys from the back and he wants them to come out. He has Jay Lethal and Michael Elgin come out and Nigel tells them to get out of his ring.

Steve says that you don’t tell God what to do, God tells you what to do. He is spreading his words of wisdom. They need the ROH World Title. That is why his spiritual son will not only become the next Ring of Honor World Champion, but the last Ring of Honor Champion.

Nigel says that there will never be another Ring of Honor World Champion from SCUM because none of the wankers deserve a shot.

Steve says that if Nigel wants him to leave Ring of Honor, he will . . .

Steve says that Nigel has to give them one shot. If SCUM loses, he will leave. He will leave Ring of Honor and he would leave wrestling. He knows that Nigel won’t give them a shot because he is a pathetic piece of garbage. Nigel is a hypocrite when he talks about honor. People booed him when he was the champion and Nigel would complain in the back about how the people did not appreciate him.

Steve says that he watched Nigel’s documentary and it is a piece of s***.

Nigel tells Steve that if he wants the match, at Border Wars, Elgin and Lethal against two members of SCUM. If SCUM wins, one of his men gets a World Title Match. If they lose, Corino is out of wrestling forever.

Steve says that he wants more. Steve mentions that there is an empty seat next to Kevin Kevin due to an unfortunate accident at Supercard of Honor. If they win at Border Wars, he gets to sit at the announce table and tell everyone the truth. Steve calls Nigel a coward.

Nigel takes off his jacket and he gets on the apron with Lethal and Elgin and they enter the ring. Nigel tells Corino that he will see him at Border Wars.

Steve tells Nigel that he will see him next week.

We go to commercial.

Jay Briscoe says that honor ain’t going nowhere. He thought he was cool with Adam Cole. Who does Adam think he is to get in the ring with the champ. He will see him in Toronto at Border Wars.

Matt Taven also knows that he has a number of challengers. He was pinned in a Proving Grounds Match by ACH.

ACH says that history will repeat itself because he will beat Matt Taven again. People do not believe that he will win, but he wants to surprise people. He says that he has heart. He grew up with hard times and he has the motivation.

Mark Briscoe will face the winner at Border Wars. Mark says that his destiny will be fulfilled in two weeks. He is going to face a young whippersnapper. He would rather face ACH because Matt probably got a disease from hanging out with Truth Martini.
