I have not heard about whether the WWE Hall of Fame will air this year. Will it?
A one-hour Hall of Fame special will air on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET on USA Network. The whole ceremony will be on the WrestleMania 29 DVD.
WWE released the complete volumes of Monday Night Raw seasons 1 & 2, and stopped after that due to poor sales/interest. Do you think WWE pulled the plug too soon?? Don't you think there would've been huge interest for the volumes from 1998-2000 and even through 2003??
I think there would be an interest, for sure. However, I think it would also have a lot of value in helping to sell The WWE Network. So I can see why they put a hold on it.
I don't mean to sound so condescending, but why is Randy Orton so popular? I was there when he beat Chris Benoit for the title and that was a great moment, but after that he seemed to flop. I remember his feud with Triple H going into Wrestlemania 25 was pretty awesome, but since then, other than being a good and consistent in ring performer, I don't recall him doing anything really "wow" worthy. He's really good in the ring and, in my opinion, average on the mic, but the crowd just loves him when he comes out. I guess my question is, why is he viewed as a "made man" and at what point in his career do you think he got that status?
People like him because he has been presented as a top guy and he comes across as someone that matters. On top of that, he is very charismatic and knows how to play to the crowd.
I'm wondering if Bully Ray could ever become the face of Impact Wrestling the way Cena is for the WWE? The reason I ask is the only thing my 5 year old has ever cared about when it comes to wrestling is Cena. Lately though when I'm watching Raw she has been asking where Bully Ray is.
I don't ever see him being like Cena (Bully is just not that sappy) but I could see him being the focal point of the company for a while. He has earned it and has done very well in the role.
Maybe I missed something but can you explain why the WWE has chosen to have Maria Menounos induct Bob Backlund into this year's WWE Hall of Fame?
First off, she's a celebrity. WWE likes celebs. Beyond that, the two say they have been friends for years.
