In the film, Rock plays a father who agrees to go undercover to expose a drug running operation in order to help the jail sentence of his son, who has been arrested for accepting a shipment of ecstasy mailed to him by a friend.
The film, which opens on 2,511 screens, also stars Susan Sarandon and former "Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal. It was gotten mixed reviews, although Johnson has gotten very good marks for his work in the film by USA Today and several other outlets.
