*Rich Swann vs. Samuray del Sol vs. Jigsaw vs. Sam Callihan.
Round Two:
*Ricochet (number 2 seed, gets bye through first round) vs. winner of Fox v. Davis.
*Chuck Taylor (number 1 seed, gets bye through first round) vs. Four Way winner.
The remaining winners will face off to crown the first EVOLVE champion.
The EVOLVE event will also feature The Young Bucks against the Super Smash Brothers in a battle of the top Canadian and American independent tag teams.
Notable from his absence in the tournament is the previously announced Johnny Gargano. The storyline is that he has pulled out, "feeling" his DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate championship is more important, thus he doesn't need the EVOLVE title.
