As anyone who watched the Super Bowl tonight knows, power went out to half of the stadium at the start of the third quarter. This led to a lot of people asking what WWE would do if this happened to them, which is a good question since the rumored home for WrestleMania 30 is the same building. Here is how they would handle it.
1) If the same thing happened at Mania 30, they would keep the show going. There was enough light to put a show on.
2) They will also make sure that they have enough back up power to keep the ringside area lit and the announcers on the air. If an act of God happens and it kills the PPV to the satellite however, all bets are off.
Greg Davis added this: A good note to add to the article would be that this happened at WrestleMania 24 during the WWE Championship match. Sure enough, they just kept going.
