ECW, NIGEL MCGUINNESS, DYNAMITE KID & MORE: LOTS OF WRESTLING DOCUMENTARY UPDATES

By Mike Johnson on 2013-01-21 09:00:00

The latest on the ECW documentary is it looks as if it will be released in the Spring. There's talk of an April or May premiere in Philadelphia, at which point they will take it on the film festival circuit.

Highspots will be sponsoring the premiere of the Dynamite Kid documentary, which will be held at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate for a very limited audience.  Attendance at the premiere will include a meet and greet with Dynamite Kid, which will include one signed item and autograph for £75.00 ($120.00 USD) per person.  The documentary is still in production with Highspots heading this week to Calgary, Alberta to film additional footage and conduct interviews with Stampede Wrestling alumni.  For more details and to order tickets to the premiere, click here. The Highspots.com documentary on the life of The Dynamite Kid will have a premiere screening as part of a special event in Manchester, Great Britain on 2/24.

The Last of McGuinness, which chronicles the end of Nigel McGuinness' wrestling career, will be doing a tour soon with Nigel appearing for a discussion after. We hope to have complete details on the dates and locations shortly.

The documentary "GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" will be released on DVD on 3/5.

The trailer for Wrestliholics Volume 2, a sequel to the great documentary on Adam Cole and Sami Callihan on the road in Japan has been released. This time, the film will feature a slew of talents overseas:
