MADUSA UPDATE, ZACK QUESTIONS WWE OVER IGNORING HIM (AGAIN) AND LOTS MORE WWE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2013-01-08 08:48:43
This year's WWE house shows held the afternoon of the Super Bowl at 1 PM will be held in Augusta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama.

Jon Gruden of ESPN was in attendance at last night's Raw taping.

Zack Ryder took to Twitter, addressing the WWE directly, asking how they could have ignored his Twitter follower numbers on the graphic they put up last night during Raw. Well, the easy answer there is someone in power doesn't like you. Ryder actually held a Q&A on Twitter last night and in the process, got that he has more followers than Miz (who was listed on the graphic) to trend on Twitter. It's sort of sad how he kicked off the entire WWE social media movement as a way to secure his job and get a TV role and they've pretty much forgotten everything he did to get himself over. I think part of the reason he gets ignored is the company doesn't want to admit that there are hard numbers that a low-level guy has a bigger following (in any regard) than say, a former WWE champion like Miz.

Several readers sent word that Madusa updated her Twitter account, clarifying she was just considering attending Raw since she was going to be in Houston at the time and not that she was booked to appear on the show.

Dolph Ziggler, Brodus Clay and AJ Lee will be appearing at the WWE NXT house show on Wednesday in Kissimmee, FL.

The Tampa Bay Times featured a piece on John Cena meeting with a young boy who's been dealing with being ill most of his life. As much as these things get publicized, Cena does way more appearances and deeds of that nature that never, ever get mentioned.

Devin Cutting sent the following....WWE returns to the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013. Bell time is 7:30 PM.
