The show opened with Miz TV. They set up John Cena and Miz vs. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. The faces won. Yes, I was surprised too.
Antonio Cesaro beat Sgt. Slaughter, who came out to defend America from the dreaded Swiss invasion.
Team Hell No beat Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre.
CM Punk did a promo. Vince McMahon said that the WWE doctors will evaluate him to see if he can wrestle on 1/7.
The Shield interfered in the Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler match and it was thrown out.
Eve said she wanted to beat Mae Young to defend her title. Mae was not there, so Eve said she won. Kaitlyn attacked here.
Big Show beat Ricardo Rodriguez when Alberto Del Rio ran in.
Note to everyone, don't cancel your New Years Eve plans for this show.
Kofi Kingston lost his Intercontinental Title to Wade Barrett.
The Shield attacked Ryback, who was supposed to have a handicap match against them. Randy Orton and Sheamus made the save. The Shield ran away.
The end of the show was ridiculous. AJ and Ziggler were doing a New Years toast. Cena came out and said he was entering the Royal Rumble and was going to win the WWE Title. It got worse.
