PUNK VS. WALKING DEAD'S MERLE, LOTS OF HEYMAN GUYS OUT THERE, WWE APP UPDATES, WHEN KHALI MET NATALYA AND MORE NEWS

WWE champion CM Punk met up with actor Michael Rooker over the weekend at the Wizardworld convention in New Orleans. Last week on "Talking Dead", Punk challenged Rooker to face him for the WWE championship. Rooker plays Merle, one of the top antagonists on AMC's The Walking Dead, which you should really be watching if you like awesome TV. Punk remarked on Twitter that he indeed retained the title along with a photo of the pair posing with the WWE belt.  

The "I'm a Paul Heyman Guy" t-shirts have sold out several times online in the last few weeks, so apparently, a bunch of you are, indeed, Paul Heyman Guys.

Paige, considered the current top WWE developmental Diva prospect, is on the road with the main roster for TV this week.

WWE is running a storyline where Great Khali wants to romance Natalya. Yes, really.  

WWE's iPad Apptivity game was named one of the best iPad games by The Washington Times at this link.

WWE Classics on Demand is adding a daily "Season's Beatings" segment daily through 12/25. Thus far, they have aired:

Dec 2- Boiler Room Brawl- Mankind vs Santa Claus Raw 12/20/99
Dec 3- The Big Show presents his own version of a Night Before Christmas Smackdown 12/21/10

Bill John sent the following....WWE recently updated their app in the iTunes Store. I looked at what exactly was updated, and the biggest one I saw was that you can now order PPVs straight from the app itself. Thought that was pretty interesting and decided to share.
