Lauper's appearance with Wendi Richter and Roddy Piper was her first WWF appearance since the mid-1980s, where she was a huge part of the Rock N' Wrestling Connection that helped WWF become a national force. While appearing as Richter's manager, Lauper feuded with the late Fabulous Moolah and also produced and performed on "The Wrestling Album" under the pseudonym Mona Flambe.
