PUNK HAS PLANS FOR CHICAGO, 1-2-3 KID RIDES AGAIN AS PART OF TEAM WWF AND MORE NEWS

WWE champion CM Punk wrote the following on Twitter, teasing something for Chicago for his DVD release: "Got a real special trick up my sleeve for my fans regarding my DVD. Going to be fun. #Chicago"

John Cena is signing tomorrow at the Wizard World convention in Chicago. Punk is signing there on Saturday and Sunday.

WWE returns to the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on October 21st, 2012 at 5 PM.

Here's a great wrinkle. CHIKARA has announced their their 2012 King of Trios tournament will feature a "Team WWF" in the annual six man tag tourney - the team will be comprised of Tatanka, Sean Waltman as the 1-2-3 Kid and PJ Walker working as Aldo Montoya for the first time since, well, who the hell knows. Also booked for the tournament is a six man unit of The Warlord, Meng and The Barbarian as well as a "ECW" team of Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lynn and 2 Cold Scorpio plus a ton of Japanese talent including Manami Toyota.
