LINDA SPENDING MILLIONS TO BECOME A SENATOR, MANIA BONUSES, ROSA MENDES' FIANCE HAD ANOTHER BETROTHED, FOZZY NEWS AND MORE

TMZ is reporting that Andy "Jackson Andrews" Slocum, who Rosa Mendes alleged assaulted her, was actually engaged to another woman besides Mendes.  When the story of the alleged assault broke the other woman, who had been engaged to him for four and a half years, broke it off. 

The Stamford Advocate is reporting that Linda McMahon has loaned her US Senate campaign a total of $12.4 million dollars for her current run for office.  If you add in the $50 million she spent trying to get elected in 2010 that brings the total to over $62 million.  Wow, you put on a network for that kind of money.

Eric Sturrock sent word that DirecTV is currently testing ION East HD channel which will launch within the next two weeks.  So that means those of you with DirecTV will have it in time for WWE's October debut on the network.

To update a story from yesterday, Josh Wiles sent word that Chris Jericho's band Fozzy will be playing in an Australian hard rock festival called Soundwave, which usually runs around the start of March.  I could still see him making WrestleMania.

Speaking of Mania, the talents got their bonuses for the show recently.  Let's just say that it let a lot of people on the roster know where they stand with the company.  Hey, it takes a lot of money to run a Senate campaign folks!

And speaking of Fozzy, Kevin McGuffey sent word that they will have a concert on Thursday, August 30th at New York City’s Gramercy Theater.
