The title is a take-off of Irvine's two series that have run on the Network, Dinner Impossible and Restaurant Impossible which have shown his adventures in creating specialized menus and rehabbing restaurants in danger of closing in short periods of time.
Food Network Magazine a piece on the wedding in their September 2012 issue, noting that Irvine planned the entire wedding, including the menu, and "kept [Gail] in the dark about the details" to surprise her. The magazine featured comments from Kim and a number of Food Network personalities who were in attendance. It noted there were several wrestling personalities at the wedding but did not note them by name.
