Chris Jericho has always been my favorite, since his first match...now he constantly losing. But in a good way! He is helping to elevate younger talent, which everyone (yourselves at PWI included) is constantly saying more greats in the business need to do. My question is this - in cases like this where some true greats are stepping up and elevating future stars (like Jericho is currently with Ziggler, and did for Punk), is that his choice? I know the fans were clamoring for Punk vs. Jericho so that HAD to happen...who wouldn't want to see that...but did Jericho go to management and say that he sees Ziggler as a star, and wants to work with him to help bring him up the ladder a little bit? Does this happen often, or is the standard that everyone jumps on WWE for true, in that typically people only do what they are told and don't job out of choice?

Actually, putting Punk over was Jericho's call too.  He came back just to do that.  Yes, he has a lot of say in what he does for WWE and while I haven't heard that Jericho asked to do the program with Ziggler, my hunch is that he did.  At this point in his career he doesn't have to stay around WWE if he doesn't like the program he is in.  I think it's great what he is doing for the business.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember reading that the plan for Alberto Del Rio was to make him into a "monster heel?" I think it was even Vince McMahon's idea to make him meaner and more aggressive. If that's the case ADR and WWE Creative seem to be failing miserably. I hear people calling him the Mexican JBL (even JBL himself made a comment about that on Twitter before) but the JBL character was easy to hate, entertaining and usually put on good matches. I'm just not seeing it in ADR. Do you agree?

I see them trying but to me the big issue is that WWE just doesn't want to book their heels as legitimate, bad ass tough guys.  I have no idea why, but they don't.  They want the babyfaces to be tough.  What I think they are missing out on is that everyone looks stronger when both guys in the fight are booked as tough and hard to beat.

Doesn't it seem strange to you that CM Punk would cut a promo talking about how he should be the one closing out and main eventing every show after going on a minor rant about this on Twitter a few weeks ago saying that it didn't matter because he would always be the main event no matter when his match is? I guess WWE is counting on people not noticing? Considering Punk has over 1 million followers, WWE shoving Twitter down out throats and him not being the last match on the cards was something a lot of people complained about it seems like it's something a lot of people would notice.

Hey, WWE isn't consistent with things that have happened in the past on their TV shows a lot of the time.  I am sure that they consider it even less when you are talking about what has been on Twitter.

How exactly did AJ Styles and Dixie help crackwhore Claire by hugging and kissing each other ? ... Or is it just silly me remembering stuff from merely 4 weeks ago ? ... Seriously: could that be the most plothole-intense storyline of the year?

TNA has been really good lately but the AJ-Claire storyline has been really bad, with the exception of Christopher Daniels.  He has been pretty entertaining in his role.

It seems as if Wrestlemania next year will be built around Rock, Cena, Undertaker, and Lesnar. My question is which two matches would you prefer for the big card and why?

1) Rock vs Cena Lesnar vs Taker
2) Rock vs Lesnar Cena vs Taker
3) Cena vs Lesnar Rock vs Taker

Well, I will answer this under the assumption that Taker can go and say Rock vs. CM Punk and Taker vs. Lesnar.  Why?  I have already seen Cena vs. Rock (and frankly I have had enough of Cena).  Rock vs. Punk would be fresh and Taker vs. Lesnar would be the match that should have happened when Lesnar chose to leave WWE.
