Don Savage, who worked a number of territories and in Japan in underneath roles in the 1950s and 1960s, has released an autobiography titled "Carpenter." I've read about half of the book and there are some good stories about Lou Thesz, touring Japan, working for Gene LeBell and more. You can order the book by clicking here.
I had the chance to check out the recent Adam Cole vs. Papadon bout promoted by the ECWA in Delaware and it was off the charts awesome. I really think that Papadon is one of the most underrated talents going right now, period and expect he's going to be a name that suddenly is an overnight success after yeas of working to make it happen. He and Cole had awesome chemistry and some awesome drama. Well worth going out of your way to see it. For more on the ECWA, visit www.ecwaprowrestling.com.
