Jericho stated in an interview that he would be finishing on 8/14. Things may have changed since he gave that interview as WWE is advertising him for the PPV, so we will see.
In "this Day In History" 1987 you had the results of a Crockett Promotions show in Philly. The main event was "Nikita Koloff defeated NWA US Champion Lex Luger via disqualification in a steel cage match." How the hell can there be a dq in a Cage match? Just wondering.
I believe there was a run-in and Nikita was attacked. There was a lot of funky booking with DQs during that era.
With the celebrity wing of the WWE HOF, does it surprise you that Andy Kaufman hasn't been inducted in? Given now that WWE has acknowledged the 30th anniversary of the angle, you think he finally gets in? If he does, you think Lawler is a shoe-in to induct him?
I certainly believe Kaufman deserves to get in. He was a native New Yorker, so it would make the most sense to induct him in NYC. Perhaps they can try and get David Letterman to do the induction. That's probably a long shot, but you never know.
What ever happened to the Paul Heyman Autobiography? I think it was slated for release maybe last fall?
The book was placed on hold. There's no sign of it being released anytime soon, but I am hopeful as I do believe it would be one of the more fascinating books if Heyman allows it to be insightful.
How do I get tickets to WWE NXT?
Tickets are sold at Full Sail University's box office on certain times and days leading up to the taping day. I would keep an eye on the events section of their website.
