MORE ON JERICHO DEPARTURE, JIM POWERS HEALTH UPDATE AND MORE

As we noted earlier today, Chris Jericho's last scheduled date with WWE is currently 8/14. Jericho discussed his departure to work on his new autobiography and tour with his band Fozzy at this link.

Mideon popped up at tonight's Florida Championship Wrestling event in Tampa, FL visiting. The Undertaker had a HUGE line for fans meeting him for VIP autographs. If anyone attended the FCW event, we are seeking live reports.

ESPN's 'Around The Horn' mentioned the remark Abraham Washington made about Kobe Bryant on Raw.

Finally, an update on former WWF and WCW star Jim Powers, best known for his run as one of the Young Stallions. As those of you who subscribe to the Elite section know, Jim had been a regular personality on our audio shows but had curtailed his appearances due to a number of personal and health issues that were going on. We learned today that Jim will be going into the hospital tomorrow to undergo a hip replacement caused by the years of abuse he put his body through while working in professional wrestling. We obviously wish Jim nothing but the best in his surgery and the post-op physical therapy and we wanted to ask everyone else to drop him a line and wish him well via his Facebook at this link.
