Just a quick question -- what is your opinion of the "Claire/AJ Styles" storyline on Impact? I think I'm in the minority, but I think it's a hoot. Paul Heyman used to love these sort of "wink, wink, this is obviously outrageous but let's all just go with it" angles in ECW, and I'm finding this one pretty entertaining. It's a little different, I'm not sure where it's going, the actress who is playing Claire is hilariously awful (unlike Dixie Carter, who is just plain awful), it looks like Kazarian and Daniels are having a complete blast... what more can you ask for in a wrestling angle? As I said, I think I'm in the minority but I was just curious what your opinions are.

Well, we both agree that the two actresses are awful at least.  Honestly, I have found the whole thing to be insipid.  I don't mind a little off the range stuff in storylines but this one has just been super dopey to me.  The plot holes are ridiculous and having to deal with Dixie's bad acting and AJ Styles looking like a goober is not fun for me.

I hate what TNA has done with the X-Division Title. Hasn't the title now become a glorified money in the bank briefcase? It doesn't really mean anything other than a gimmick to get a heavyweight title shot. Like Roode said, he has the real title. I'm sorry but if you hand over a championship to go for another your admitting that your a step below, your in an inferior division.

I don't see it like that.  I take your point that it clearly outlines the hierarchy of the titles, but it's not like I didn't know that already.  The TNA Title is more important than the X Title.  With the new stipulation, I think it elevates the belt and makes it more important as whoever holds it going into Destination X can get a World Title shot.  I like the gimmick.

Now that the 1000th episode of Raw is upon us do you think they will finally lay off or get rid of those "Do you know" tidbits?

No, because one has nothing to do with the other.  The Do You Know stuff is done to put over the company.  Now that they have 1,000 Raws to brag about, it will increase the spots if anything.

Austin has always said he has one more match in him.  Edge said he could not risk ever wrestling again. Isn't Austin's neck as bad or worse than Edge's health situation?

I am no doctor and I don't have intimate knowledge of their conditions so I can't definitively say who has the worse neck.  However, both men were told by doctors that working a match could be a huge risk for them.  My hunch is that if Austin worked again, it would be a brawling type of match, similar to the scenes he does in movies.  Moves that involve impact on the neck and spine would be off limits.  Pros can work around that but as we all know, accidents happen.  It would not be worth taking the risk if it were me.

With WWE investing in some new online social programming.  Don't they have to run this by shareholders before investing?

No, they have to run many things by the Board Of Directors, but not the shareholders.  Their responsibility to shareholders is to make them as much money as possible.  Now whether they are doing that is a different subject altogether.
