WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: FINAL PUSH FOR MONEY IN THE BANK; HOW DID ZACK RYDER DO AS GENERAL MANAGER?; TAG TEAMS IN SINGLES ACTION; WHO HAS THE ADVANTAGE FOR THE WORLD TITLE MATCH

Zack Ryder starts off with a video package recapping his victory last week to become the General Manager this week. What will happen tonight?

We are live on tape from Denver, Colorado and your announcers are Booker ‘Crystal Lake’ T, Josh ‘Takes Manhattan’ Mathews, and Michael ‘vs. Freddy vs. Ash’ Cole.

The General Manager makes his presence known early and he makes his way to the ring.

Zack welcomes everyone to the first Friday Night Zackdown. In his first act, he will organize the world’s largest fist pump with everyone in the building. Zack says that this will be the greatest Smackdown ever.

Alberto Del Rio’s music interrupts and Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto as he makes his way to the ring.

Alberto says that he thought Teddy Long was a joke as a General Manager, but to have this stupid clown who calls himself the Internet Champion of the World? Alberto says that they have to be kidding. On Sunday, he becomes the World Champion and then he will rule Smackdown.

Zack corrects Alberto and calls it Zackdown. Zack says that someone wants to get his hands on Del Rio and he will be Alberto’s opponent . . . right now.

We see footage from Del Rio’s attack on Sin Cara two weeks ago on Raw.

Match Number One: Alberto Del Rio with Ricardo Rodriguez versus Sin Cara

Del Rio goes after Cara but Cara side steps him and Del Rio goes into the turnbuckles. Cara with forearms but Del Rio with a clothesline for a near fall. Del Rio with kicks to Cara’s head and Alberto gets a near fall. Del Rio with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Del Rio chokes Cara in the ropes.

Del Rio with an Irish whip but he misses a shoulder into the corner and Cara with kicks to Alberto followed by a forearm in the cover and a DDT for a near fall. Cara with kicks to the leg but Del Rio with a back elbow. Del Rio with a slam for a near fall. Del Rio goes for a splash in the ropes but Cara moves. Cara with an enzuigiri to Del Rio and Alberto goes to the floor.

Cara with a suicide dive onto Del Rio and we go to commericl.

We are back and Cara with a kick to the chest and he gets a near fall. Del Rio with an Irish whip but Cara with a back elbow. Del Rio is able to put Cara on top and then Del Rio with a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Del Rio with an arm bar. Cara tries for a kick but Del Rio with a head butt and he retains control o fthe match.

Cara with a kick but Del Rio with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and then he gets a near fall. Del Rio with shots to the arm and then he stomps on the inured arm. Del Rio gets a near fall and then he returns to the arm. Del Rio with a kick to the chest.

Cara avoids a charge into the corner and Cara hits a head scissors and then he connects with knees. Del Rio sends Cara into the turnbuckles. Cara with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Cara goes to the turnbuckles and he sets for a swanton but Del Rio moves and applies the cross arm breaker to win the match when Cara taps out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Teddy Long tells Zack that he is doing a great job running Smackdown and leaves.

Big Show says that Zack is doing a terrible job and that he should be the General Manager.

Show turns around and Khali is there. Ryder tells Show that is his opponent.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Darren Young with Titus O’Neil and Abraham Washington versus Primo with Epico and Rosa Mendes

They lock up and Washington is wired for sound. Young pushes Primo away but Primo with punches. Young with forearms and Primo fires back. Young with an Irish whip but Primo gets his boots up and hits a rana followed by a chop and punch. Primo with a drop toe hold and Young goes into the ropes and Primo with a splash to the back and he goes to the floor.

Young with a hot shot when Primo returns to the ring. Young gets a near fall and he stomps on Primo’s head. Young with a forearm across the chest on the apron and then he hits a leg drop on the apron. Young gets a near fall. Primo with punches but Young with a knee and neck breaker.

Young gets a near fall. Young signals that it is time and he hits a snap mare followed by a leg drop and elbow drop and forearm across the chest for a near fall. Young with a cravate on Primo but Primo backs Young into the corner and escapes with an arm drag. Primo with punches and chops and then Primo with a springboard cross body but Young rolls through and gets Primo on his shoulders.

Primo gets to the mat and then he sends Young into the turnbuckles. Young avoids a lungblower when he holds on to the ropes. Young gets put into an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner: Primo

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for a Raw 1000 Memorable Moment and it is the night that Edge announced his retirement. Christian talks about that moment.

Sheamus is in the back and Zack tells him that if Sheamus and Alberto mix it up tonight, the match on Sunday is off.

Chris Jericho walks by and he says that he cannot believe that Zack is in charge tonight. He says that he is looking forward to the trainwreck.

Sheamus challenges Jericho to a match but Jericho says that he is only an observer.

Ryder makes the match for tonight between Chris Jericho and Sheamus.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to see who is in the World Title Money in the Bank Match.

Match Number Three: Christian and Santino Marella versus Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero

Christian and Rhodes start things off and they lock up with Cody applying a side head lock. Rhodes with a shoulder tackle and then he points to the briefcase. Rhodes with a kick to send Christian to the mat. Christian with a shoulder tackle and back elbow before tagging in Santino.

Cody doesn’t want to deal with Santino and he tags in Dolph. Santino wants to wrestle amateur style but Ziggler with a take down and then he punches Santino. Ziggler with an Irish whip but Santino floats over and applies an arm bar after an arm drag. Christian tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles for a forearm to the arm followed by a punch and then he slingshots to the floor and connects with an uppercut and then he drops Ziggler on the top rope and gets a near fall.

Ziggler with a punch and he sends Christian into the corner before tagging in Cody. Cody runs into a punch and then Christian tries for a tornado DDT but Christian is pushed into the center of the ring and Cody gets a near fall. Ziggler tags in and hits a drop kick for a near fall.

Ziggler with an elbow to the top of the head and then he applies a reverse chin lock. Christian with elbows and a punch but Ziggler with a knee to the midsection and then Ziggler tags in Rhodes. Cody with a kick to the ribs and then he hits a delayed gourdbuster for a near fall. Rhodes sets for the kick to the solar plexus and then he tries for the Alabama Slam but Christian rolls through and hits a flapjack.

Santino and Ziggler tag in and Santino with punches followed by the split and hip toss. Santino with the diving head butt to the midsection and now it is Cobra time. Cody hits Santino from behind but Christian hits Cody and sends him over the top rope to the floor. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag for the three count.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Raw Rebound.

Match Number Four: Big Show versus Great Khali

They lock up and Show with a chop to Khali and then he calls for one more but Khali with a few chops of his own instead. Khali raises his arms for being able to chop Show and that allows Show to knock Khali out with a punch and Booker wants to know if we saw it. Show gets the three count.

Winner: Big Show

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage from last week’s match between Curt Hawkins and Ryback.

Before the match, Tyler says that he will do what Hawkins couldn’t do last week and that is hand Ryback his first loss.

Match Number Five: Tyler Reks with Curt Hawkins versus Ryback

They lock up and Reks with knees to the midsection followed by kicks and punches in the corner. Reks comes off the ropes but he runs into a big boot from Reks and then Ryback drives Reks’ head into the mat. Ryback sends Reks to the floor.

Ryback pulls Reks up to the apron but Reks drops Ryback on the top rope. Ryback with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Reks with a sliding punch to the midsection but Ryback with a lariat and it is time to end this. Ryback gets Reks up for the marching muscle buster and gets the three count.

Winner: Ryback

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are reminded that Rock will be on the 1000th episode of Raw.

Match Number Six: Justin Gabriel versus Damien Sandow

They lock up and Sandow tries for a hip toss but Gabriel lands on his feet and he takes Sandow down with a leg sweep. Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep followed by the elbow of disdain for a near fall. Sandow with a reverse chin lock. Gabriel with kicks to Sandow followed by a chop but he misses a round kick. Gabriel with a jumping round kick but he misses a splash into the conrer.

Sandow with a series of knees followed by the straightjacket neck breaker for the three count with a thoughtful cover.

Winner: Damien Sandow

After the match, Sandow does his victory cartwheel.

The announcers talk about the fact that anyone can win the World Title Money in the Bank match. Josh ruins the fun with the reveal of the Anonymous Raw General Manager.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Seven: Chris Jericho versus Sheamus

They lock up and Sheamus backs Jericho into the corner and he gives a clean break. Jericho slaps Sheamus but Sheamus sends Jericho into the turnbuckles and connects with forearms. Jericho goes to the floor and Sheamus follows after him. Jericho runs into a slingshot shoulder tackle from the apron and Sheamus gets a near fall.

Sheamus with a punch and knees to Jericho. Sheamus punches Jericho in the corner and he Irish whips Jericho but he runs into a boot. Jericho with a missile drop kick from the corner and he gets a near fall. Jericho with a knee to the midsection and then he punches Sheamus. Sheamus punches Jericho and connects with knees. Jericho goes to the apron but Sheamus punches him and then he hits the forearms across Jericho’s chest.

Sheamus with a running shoulder tackle that sends Jericho to the floor and over the announce table. Sheamus sends Jericho into the apron and we go to commercial.

We are back and Jericho is now in control of the match and he connects with forearms and applies a reverse chin lock. We see footage from the commercial break when Jericho sent Sheamus into the ring steps and over the announce table. Jericho continues with the reverse chin lock followed by chops. Jericho misses a shoulder into the corner and hits the post. Sheamus with running double sledges followed by a shoulder in the corner and a running knee lift.

Sheamus tries for a slam but Jericho escapes. Jericho cannot escape the uranage back breaker but he does kick out at two. Sheamus with an Irish whip and Jericho tries to float over but Sheamus catches Jericho and then hits a rolling fireman’s carry slam. Jericho with a thumb to the eye when the referee was out of position. Jericho tries for a Codebreaker but Sheamus catches him.

Sheamus misses a Brogue kick and gets caught in the ropes. Jericho with a springboard drop kick followed by a Lionsault for a near fall. Jericho with a kick but Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Sheamus sets for the Celtic Cross but Jericho holds on and counters into the Walls of Jericho and Sheamus tries to get to the ropes and he succeeds.

Sheamus picks up Jericho for White Noise but Jericho rolls through and reapplies the Walls of Jericho. Sheamus tries to escape the hold by powering out but Jericho pulls Sheamus into the center of the ring. Sheamus is about to tap but Sheamus is able to roll through and he kicks Jericho away.

Sheamus hits White Noise and gets a near fall. Sheamus looks around the arena and he signals for the Brogue Kick. Jericho avoids the Brogue Kick and Jericho hits the Codebreaker but Jericho is beaten up from the match and he takes too long to cover and Sheamus kicks out. Both men struggle to get to their feet.

Sheamus kicks Jericho from the corner and then Sheamus pulls himself up to the turnbuckles and he tries for the shoulder tackle from the top turnbuckle but Jericho gets his knees up for a Codebreaker. Jericho gets a near fall because of the time it took to cover Sheamus. Jericho gets to his feet first and he wants Sheamus to get up but he runs into a Brogue kick and Sheamus gets the three count.

Winner: Sheamus

Sheamus goes up the ramp and he turns to salute the crowd, but Alberto Del Rio’s music plays and he drives into the arena. It was a trap because Del Rio attacks Sheamus from behind while Sheamus is distracted by the car. Del Rio with a kick to Sheamus and he hangs over the stage and Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker. We see Ricardo emerge from the car and he has something to say to Sheamus. We go to credits.
