The new Spider-Man film features a scene where Peter Parker ends up in a small wrestling gym and seeing posters of Lucha masks, is inspired to create his initial Spider-Man mask. This was a nod back to the original origin of the character way back in the 60s where Parker originally uses his powers in wrestling to make money, setting the stage for the death of his Uncle Ben and the immortal "With great power comes great responsibility" line that became the cornerstone of the Spider-Man character.
