Watching Impact this week can't help but be excited about AA vs. Roode and TNA in general. My questions are when was the last time there was a major championship match that the outcome feels like it could go either way? Also do you feel this will be an ongoing old fashion feud? This smells of money as both of these guys are great and on top of their game.

I agree with you.  TNA has done a great job with this feud and I too am very excited for tonight's show.  It truly could go either way and it's been a while since I felt that way about a top title match from either group.  TNA has been planning on going back to Bobby Roode vs. James Storm, and they should at some point for sure, but I like the idea of riding the hot storyline and this one is hot right now.  I also like the way that TNA has been making more and more guys seem important and like top talent.  They have done a great job of that and WWE could take a page from their book as far as booking the talent goes.

Wouldn’t it make more sense from a financial and business standpoint if the WWE were to buy into or buy outright an existing cable channel such as G4 or another channel that is already on most cable and satellite systems? That would eliminate the major hurdle WWE seems to be facing in getting cable and satellite systems to agree to carry the channel. They could do something similar to what the UFC has done with Fuel which is to have a major presence on an existing network but not be solely responsible for filling every hour or every day or they could totally take over an existing network. I don’t see any other way WWE can get their network off the ground. What do you think?

Here is the problem I see in doing that.....buying the network.  Once they spend the money to do that (and it won't be cheap) the money is gone.  I have major doubts that the network will come close to being successful.  In fact, I think if they do it as a standalone product it will fail.  I don't see many people paying for it as premium network and I don't think that they will have enough decent programming to generate the needed advertising revenue.  So for me, feeling that way, I would like to see them lose as little money as possible.  Now, if you feel differently and think it would be a success then yes, it would make sense to buy an existing network with a good spot in the channel lineup, provided the cable carriers agree to keep you in that slot.

Ric Flair as the new GM of WWE.  How's that idea work for you? As long as he's not having a spasm in the ring, he's pretty articulate and I could see the transition of his promos working well in some backstage segments. It would also get the old fans kind of looking a little, just to see what he's up to?

Honestly, I am sick of the GM character.  I would like to see it go away for a while and let the wrestlers do more of the storyline stuff on their own.  After all these years, I am sick of the sameness of the GM deciding everything all of the time.  I fully expect Flair to get a role in WWE at some point and it wouldn't shock me if it's as GM.

What's the deal with Joey Ryan, is this real, scripted or that weird blur everyone is trying to do lately like with Rock and Cena. So lost and just want to know what this guy is actually doing. (this is asked after I heard the interview with Taz and Ryan).

Work city, and obviously a good once since it made you wonder.

My question regards AJ. She has been absolutely fantastic in her role in the CM Punk/Daniel Bryan feud and is arguably one of the best things in wrestling at the moment but where does she go when this story is over? She is having such an impact, winning over the audience (and creative if Raw is anything to go by) and has really come into her own to the point that throwing her back into the divas division in it's current state could hurt her. Where would you go with her and could she finally bring some respect back to the WWE divas division if she did end up back in the Divas championship hunt?

I hate to say this but the Divas division means nothing right now.  If a woman has a choice between Layla's spot and AJ's, they would all take AJ.  So, as long as she stays hot I see her involved in storylines because right now she is bigger than the Divas Title.
