Silas Young has been let go by EVOLVE/DGUSA.  He was slated to start a big push this past weekend at the Florida trilogy but didn't make the shows and won't be back.  One source stated a travel issue caused the no show as he was bringing himself in and couldn't get his travel arranged.  At the last minute, the promotion offered to cover the travel cost but Young would have had to accept a cut in pay for the weekend to help absorb the costs but turned that down.

Samuray del Sol had a huge weekend for the promotion and the feeling is that he's ready to be one of the top talents for DGUSA/EVOLVE.  A lot of credit was being given to El Generico for getting Sol into the position with their matches over the weekend.

Low Ki and Sean Waltman were visiting at the Friday event last weekend.  Both live in Florida.  Ki is still with the company but was taking the weekend off since he had just worked a long New Japan tour.

There were no injuries over the weekend.

EVOLVE loved having all the older names and legends at their event as part of the Florida Underground Wrestling event in St. Petersburg, which honored the legends.  The ceremony was originally slated to be part of the iPPV broadcast but concerns over whether some of the names could appear while under a WWE Legends deal prevented it.

EVOLVE was very happy working with FUW, who were instrumental in the shows even taking place  Kevin Sullivan was running the locker room for the FUW side of things.

The promotion was extremely high on how Bobby Fish and Jon Davis came through with the Style Battle tournament, which was designed to make them stronger players.

There will be a big Fourth of July sale announced soon.

The promotion was happy with the iPPV streams over the weekend, although the Internet connection in St. Petersburg meant the stream wasn't as strong as the others.  They had no issues with losing the stream.  That said, there were some production issues.  The promotion couldn't use their usual ring light set-up due to concerns with blowing out the power in the venues.  The decision was made that the iPPV streams were more important than the lighting so they weren't used.
