Was there any issue of wrestler Sting using that name in regards to musician Sting?

No.  As long as the wrestler didn't try to use the name as a singer, and vice versa, they were both fine using it in their respective industries, much like Edge and The Edge.

We all engage in fantasy booking, we try not to, but the thought of "I would've done that differently" always springs up. Having said that, my question to you is: who in the current roster (FCW/Raw/Smackdown/NXT) would you combine to build a legitimate tag team division in the WWE, and why? My follow up question to that is, why do you feel the WWE hasn't tried to push the division more? What's changed between now and the golden age, or even the attitude era.

To answer your second question first, the shift happened years ago when both the WWF and WCW decided that the money was in creating singles stars.  Since that point the tag division has been doomed.  As such, no one really wants to be in a tag team because it means that they will stay a second tier talent on the roster and their growth will be stunted.  Therefore, it doesn't make much sense to fantasy book the division.

I was wondering. The WWE HD set they use now has been there for a long time. It's kind of starting to get stale. Do they plan on changing it anytime soon? Or possibly going back to having different sets for Raw and Smackdown? I think it really differentiated the shows. And this current stage looks like something from American Idol. It doesn't really look like a wrestling entrance set. What do you think?

Honestly, sets don't mean much at all to me.  The ring is what matters.  With that said, if they were going to debut a new set 7/23, when they debut the third hour of Raw, would be a great time.

How many of you at PWInsider are surprised that Santino Marella is still the WWF/E United States Heavyweight Champion? I thought that he would have lost the belt by now.

Given that the US Title doesn't matter very much I am not overly surprised.  Yes, it's odd to see a comedy character as a champion but since the belt isn't very important it is no big deal.  Santino gets a pop when he comes out and the belt is largely a prop for him.

Since NCIS repeats get such good ratings, why does USA want 3 hours of RAW? Also, do you know if Bret is coming back for the 1,000th RAW?

The key is in the demographic.  NCIS skews older while Raw skews much younger.  That demo is much more desirable to marketers.  The interesting thing is that usually, pro wrestling is a hard sell to advertisers but when USA culls their overall prime time ratings the Raw numbers become a part of a bigger piece.  As for Bret, WWE has reached out to a LOT of names from the past.  I am sure they have reached out to Bret.  I don't know if he has accepted or not.
