MATT HARDY'S FUTURE, LAYLA, TAYLOR WILDE, CHEERLEADER MELISSA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-06-23 10:00:00
Some years ago before becoming SHIMMER champion Cheerleader Melissa wrestled under the name of Alissa Flash for TNA. Why didn't she wrestle under her well known name instead of the one created by TNA? If she did wrestle under the moniker Cheerleader Melissa would she have lasted longer? What was the reason why she never caught on? Didn't TNA realize what they had until it was too late?

She was hired to play the roles TNA devised for her. TNA wanted her to remain but the two sides were unable to come to terms politically. Whatever happened to former TNA Knockout star Taylor Wilde? I know she retired a few years ago. I believe her final match was against SHIMMER champion Cheerleader Melissa. She was famous for being one of a few women to defeat Awesome Kong on Impact Wrestling. Why did she retire?

Wilde retired because quite frankly, she wasn't going to make a living in the wrestling business, so she moved on. Now that Layla has returned to WWE and is the current WWE Divas champion what exactly is she? Still a heel or a fan favorite? If she is a fan favorite what happened to when was a heel alongside Michelle McCool to now a changed person or is this another WWE is was all a dream situation? It never happened.

Well, she turned babyface when Laycool split, although you and everyone else may have forgotten that. She's a babyface currently.

When will TNA be inducting more former/current wrestling stars into their Hall of Fame? Next year? The next pay per view? Is it going to be a yearly event from this point on?

TNA has yet to announce any additional details on how they are going to handle the Hall of Fame going forward.

Would you know where Matt Hardy will eventually go? To WWE or TNA?

My feeling is that Hardy will just continue to work indies for now. He has some legal and personal situations to deal with and honestly, he shouldn't be thinking beyond those at this time. He's getting older and his body has taken a beating, so it's time to dial down and think of long-term happiness.
