Akuma climbs the ladder and hits a power bomb through the table and Icarus is down. Akuma climbs the ladder and he gets contract.

Winner: Gran Akuma

The crowd interaction and the announcers made what was a good match into a better match. There were some crazy spots during the match. Chikarason and Remsburg did a great job talking about the damage that Icarus was doing to himself as well as Akuma. I liked that Akuma did the Terry Funk spinning spot with the ladder. The interference by Taylor and Gargano did not take away from the match because of the history that they have with Akuma.

Winners: Sara Del Rey and Saturyne by disqualification

After the match Delirious kisses all three men of the Batiri on the forehead and he leaves the ring.

Solid performances by Del Rey and Saturyne. This is a type of match you are not going to see in WWE or TNA with the women having such a strong showing against male opponents. I was impressed with Saturyne’s performance since this was the first time that I have seen her work. Del Rey is one of the best wrestlers in the world. I was not expecting to see Delirious make an appearance but it did not take away from the match. It seemed like the fans were a bit disappointed at the disqualification and I was a little disappointed myself.

It is time for intermission.

So far, I would say that this show is worth buying the replay. The crowd has been hot throughout the first half, the commentary has been very good (with a few moments that even had me thinking that they were getting a little vague on reference [but not taking away from the work that Leonard Chikarason, Bryce Remsburg, and Sugar Dunkerton have done]), you had a good mix of matches with some comedy in the tag match, a ladder match that might have been worth the price of the show by itself, and proof that Sara Del Rey is an amazing talent who more people need to see.

We are back from intermission and Bryce Remsburg has moved from the announce table to his position in the ring as senior referee.

Ultramantis Black has joined Leonard Chikarason at the announce table.

After the match, Hallowicked gets the scissors and starts to cut his hair. Donst starts to cry and then Hallowicked gets the clippers.

Hallowicked gives Donst back his Young Lions Cup but Donst throws it down when he leaves the ring.

I thought this match was okay. The ref bump set up the finish with Donst able to kick out before choking out Hallowicked. The announcers told a good story of why Donst would act the way he did. I did not think they would unmask Hallowicked and they found a way for Donst to get his head shaved. With any restart, I wish it would be more than two or three moves before the person who was wronged gets his revenge.

Winners: Mike Quackenbush, Eddie Kingston, Soldier Ant, Green Ant, and Jigsaw

If you want to see the type of match that separates Chikara from other companies, this is the one to watch. There were a lot of crazy spots. With the number of masked wrestlers, there could have been some confusion for those unfamiliar with the company. Adding Quackenbush to the match added to the ‘stopping the outsiders’ angle. The dive by Green Ant was crazy.

Winners: The Young Bucks

This was a very solid main event. I was a bit surprised that we got new campeones in this match. This might have been one of my favorite Young Bucks matches that I have seen. I thought all four men gave everything in this match and it was a fitting match to close the show. There were a number of solid tag team moves and there was a lot of strategy in the match. It seemed like the first fall was to feel out the other team and to try to get that advantage to possibly lead to a quick win in the second fall.

We go to footage from downtown Philadelphia where Archibald Peck is still walking in shock after losing earlier tonight. He walks past the Rocky statute.

The first team announced for King of Trios is Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lynn, and Too Cold Scorpio.
