THE LAST MAN TO DEFEAT THE UNDERTAKER, PWINSIDER LIVE COVERAGE OF EVENTS, ECW ORIGINALS NOT BOOKED FOR EXTREME REUNION AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-04-27 10:00:00
For argument's sake, let's say this was the end of Undertaker's era at Wrestlemania. If that is the case and he never returns to the ring, who was the last person to defeat him?

The last loss on the record books took place that I can find was WWE Bragging Rights 2010, as Undertaker lost to Kane in a Buried Alive match in Minneapolis. After that, his only bouts have been the Wrestlemania 27 and 28 matches against HHH, both of which were wins. There were several other losses to Kane and Chris Jericho in 2010 as well.

I see MLW is now doing podcasts. Does this mean the return of Court Bauer's promotion?

I don't think so, but I'd like to see it. When you go back and look at the level of talent on the shows, MLW was something that I don't believe was fully appreciated while it was running. That said, I think the podcasts, while interesting, are designed to bring the brand name back out there so they can eventually sell old footage online.

I see you guys travel to a lot of shows. Do the promotions pay for your travel? Are you reimbursed? How does that work? How do these shows get picked?

When we travel to events, we are doing that on our own dime and accord. A lot of times, the shows are in the Northeast where I reside. Other times, like Wrestlemania or a major inependent show, I'll feel that it's important to get a first hand perspective on the event and go to cover it from that point of view. There's no real rhyme or reason as much as Dave or myself feel it's worthwhile to provide the coverage for readers - or it's somewhere close by that's easy to get to, at which point, why not do the coverage?

How do indy promotions get covered on PWInsiderXTRA.com?

Honestly, if a promotion sends us a press release and details on their event, we will make sure that it's run or written about on XTRA. Same with their online TV shows. If they send it in, we make sure it's seen by our readership.

Why aren't Tommy Dreamer, Taz and The Dudleys working Extreme Reunion?

Taz and The Dudleys are under contract to TNA, so that's not going to happen. Dreamer said at Hardcore Justice that the PPV would be the final ECW Reunion type of event for himself and won't be at the Reunion show. He's booked for Family Wrestling Entertainment the same night in NYC.
