Could WWE make money off its massive tape library by offering the option to build your own DVDs of already digitized matches?

Hmm, they haven't done real well with On Demand so I doubt that they would make a mint doing that, especially given that it's pretty labor intensive and it's all to do one DVD.  I don't see it being a huge moneymaker, if it made money at all.  Now, if they sold individual matches to people for $2.99 or so a pop and could encrypt them so only one copy could be made, that could be something to look into.  Kind of like an iTunes for matches.

I'm probably answering my own question, but the Edge induction into the HOF shook my memory tonight. In 1998, I sat with my little brother in a high school gym in Salem outside of Boston. Dory Funk, Jr. and Les Thatcher were running a 'dojo' that weekend, and we were among maybe 100 in attendance. Edge, Christian, Kurt Angle...basically their pro wrestling debuts. The Hardys may have been there as well. Definitely the first night that Andrew Martin came out as "Test," as he was in the midst of his TV debut. Little info when I Googled it. Any idea who else was there? Pretty sure I witnessed history in the making - you agree?

I have no idea who else was there but oh yeah, if you saw that, then, you saw history in the making!  I got to see a lot of it myself back in ECW and it's very cool to be able to reflect back on it today.

So whose lunch did Alex Riley steal from the employee break room to go from getting a rocket boost to getting absolutely flattened by a returning Matt Bloom (Lord Tensai)?

That is a damn good question.  I wish I had the answer.  It was probably the same person or people that didn't like that he managed to get himself over in the angle with Miz last year.  And WWE wonders why guys groan when the higher ups say that they "have to do what they can to get themselves over".  Right, it worked out great for Riley and Zack Ryder didn't it?

So let me see if I have this straight. There going to take their #1 face of the company, their biggest draw, John Cena and first job him out to The Rock, who "hasn't been in the ring to wrestle in seven years," who is also already about gone to do another movie. Then make Cena look like a cry baby and weak, still not being serious with the Daniel Bryan shootout. All to end it with him getting laid out by another man who is only going to show up 10 times to collect a pay check of Brock Lesnar.... And Vince can not figure out why sales are down, ratings are down and why we do not care anymore????

You think that is why ratings are down?  Not me, I think it's because they have pushed Cena at everyone else's expense, just the opposite of what you think.  With that said I agree that it was nuts to job your top guy out to a legend that hasn't been working.  If they were doing a two of three, which Cena wins, fine.  But like that?  Crazy.

With Dixie Carter's toy broke again by bringing back Hogan how long before mummy and daddy take it of her for good?

A number of reports have told us that she has already had some of her purse strings tightened, as she should have.  Janice Carter is said to be watching all of the money now and she should be.  But Spike TV just renewed TNA for another two years so I think that they have at least that long to stay around.  The worst part is if someone that knew what they were doing were running that company, they could actually be successful.  It's a shame.
