WHETHER KURT ANGLE HAD A CHANCE IN THE OLYMPIC TRIALS, JAPANESE STARS WHO HAVE NEVER WRESTLED STATESIDE, NO DIVAS ON RAW AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-04-21 10:00:00

Why is Kurt Angle flipping heel/face so often.  I think he is getting worse than Kane.  I don’t watch TNA very often for many reasons, but I have been interested in the career trajectory of the Fortune members as well as Magnus/Joe and MCMG.  However, I remember Angle helping Sting last year as a masked member of his clowns.  The next month he was helping Immortal, and now I see he is fighting for America again challenging LAX.  Does this make any sense to you?

Not really, but TNA, unfortunately, has often switched characters back and forth as needed. I don't mind turns but none of them led to an increase in business, so they shouldn't have happened.

Has any changes or any new additions/attractions within Universal Studios ever affected TNA tapings or TNA itself  in any way, shape or form? Is tapings schedules pretty much the same since its beginning at Universal Studios? Any forced changes? Time? Things like that.

The only time I can recall such a thing is a taping scheduled being changed to work around the park's Halloween Horror Nights event as the space around TNA's soundstage was being used for lines into attractions.

Could you name any well known foreign wrestlers, male and female, who have never wrestled in the United States before? I believe legenday japanese star Manami Toyota wrestled here a few years ago.

The two major names that come to my mind are Toshiaki Kawada and Super Delphin.

Realistically what were the chances of Kurt Angle taking part in the Olympics in London if he wasn't injured?

Angle himself said it was a long shot, so figure it was 100 times worse in terms of his chances. I'm sure Angle wanted this really badly, as he has been writing and talking about returning to the Olympics since writing his WWE autobiography, but as Indiana Jones said, "It's not the years, it's the mileage." There's a LOT of mileage and injuries on that body.

An entire episode of Raw and not one Divas segment. What does that say about how the WWE feels about their Divas division? They need Kharma back now more than ever.

I wouldn't look too much into it.  They are in the middle of launching their "new season" so to speak, so I am sure there will be some new women popping up.  It could be because of their storylines, they needed to focus on other aspects of the company that week.
