BEST TEAM TO NEVER WIN A WORLD TITLE, WHY IT'S NOW THE DIVAS TITLE, MELINA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-04-13 10:00:03

I know you get a lot of questions about who you think is the best wrestler to never win a world title..however..I would like to know your opinion on who you thought was the best tag team to never win a world tag team title? My personal opinion would have been The Killer Bees or The Islanders..

Really good question. I'd say, for myself, it's a tie between the Fantastics and believe it or not, The Young Stallions, who were a hell of a babyface tag team in the 80s.

It was reported that Brock Lesnar signed with WWE for one year. Is the plan for him to eventually win the title at Wrestlemania 29 then after some length of time drop the belt then leave after his contract with the company has expired? Do you see him eventually resigning with WWE or is one year it?

I think there are a lot of unanswered questions. No way to see how Brock and WWE each feel a year from now. My gut is he's one and done but we will see.

I'm surprised not to have seen former WWE womens champion Melina show up on TNA's Impact Wrestling yet. Any chance of TNA signing her this year? What is she doing now?

Melina is doing some appearances and independents. No word on her going to TNA, but the company was interested in her and John Morrison as a package deal if they were available.

Frankly I don't buy the Austin Aries-Bully Ray feud. The whole situation is like oil and water. It doesn't mix. Austin Aries is an arrogant, conceited, confident individual where as Bully Ray is, in a word, a bully. Aries is not a good guy. He is a heel just like Bully Ray. So why the conflict? It doesn't make any sense. Does it to you?

Well, Aries is a babyface now, so how do you feel about it now?

What was the reason for dropping reference to the WWE Womens title to the now familiar vernacular Divas title? For a long time it was the WWE Womens Championship. Now its the Divas Championship. Why the change? Any chance it might refert back the original?

They wanted something that would reflect the Divas marketing term. They aren't going back.
