As I wrote about during Part One of my live Wrestlemania thoughts, one of the few negatives of the live production was the "palm trees" obscuring the sightlines of fans due to the necessity of being there to hold up the production and lighting rig. Fans that complained were moved to different sections on the floor, either across from the hard cameras or near the stage.
There were some PPV issues for those trying to order Wrestlemania last night.
Andy Rogers sent the following....Not sure if you've received many emails about this already, but Shaw Cable (biggest cable provider in British Columbia and Alberta) had a major glitch with last night's PPV. About 8 minutes in, the show cut out. Not sure how long it was out for as I was out the house (I was recording the show on my DVR to start watching once I got back), but personally, I wound up missing half the show. When I called Shaw, they said it was a known problem and it happened to everyone who ordered the show. They were offering full refunds. When I asked if I could get the replay, I was told that they could not promise that the problem would be fixed in time for the replay...so, I guess I'm waiting for the DVD.
Adam Blodgett sent the following....I have AT&T Uverse and was unable to order Wrestlemania. And after looking at Twitter I see I am not the only one. I ended up ordering at WWE.com and hooking an HDMI cable to my TV.
