I'm watching a show on SyFy called "Hollywood Treasure" about an auction house that hunts down and sells high priced movie memorabilia. It got me wondering if there has ever been a big auction for wrestling memorabilia at a "real" auction house? If so, what items were part of it? And what would you consider to be big-time collectible memorabilia from pro wrestling?

I have never heard of any auction house, like say Sothebys, doing something like this.  The thing with memorabilia is that it's only worth what the highest bidder will pay and the more people you have that will bid, the more the final number grows.  I just don't see a lot of people getting into bidding wars for wrestling artifacts.  To me, there is a big difference between say Babe Ruth's sixtieth home run and the tights that Hulk Hogan wore when he beat The Iron Sheik.  There are also a lot more people will bid on the former.

Today is the 10th anniversary of Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto. I had the pleasure of having floor seats to witness The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan, and I don't think I've ever felt such a crazy magical atmosphere as I felt during that match. As I rewatch the match on DVD, the memories it brings back reminds me of the approaching match with John Cena and the Rock. This match has the potential to be one of the best matches in history. It may not be a technical classic, but considering how rabid the fans will likely be, the energy is likely to be one for the ages. My question is, do you think this match will live up to the hype? And where do you think it will place in relation to the Rock vs. Hulk Hogan match?

I think Rock vs. Cena will be very, very good.  I think both men will give all that they've got.  With that said, I think Rock vs. Hogan was much bigger, for a few reasons.  One, the business was hotter then.  For another, in some ways it was one of the last "WWF vs. WCW" battles in that a top WWF guy was taking on his WCW counterpart.  Plus, the "battle of the icons" aspect was bigger there because Hogan trumps Cena in that department.  Incidentally, that match also marks the 10 year anniversary of WWE cutting off ties with wrestling sites like this one.  Given the drop the business has seen since then, maybe they should reconsider that position.

It's been said a few times that Evan Bourne will not get a big push again because if he fails another wellness test, he's gone. But wasn't his first failure for marijuana, and therefore doesn't count as one of his 3 strikes? or am I understanding the policy wrong?

He has two legit strikes.  We heard what he failed for once was synthetic marijuana, which is on the banned list.  Know this, when WWE announces someone has been suspended, it always counts.

With all the talk about the movement in the developmental circuit in WWE. More specifically with possibly expanding to the north east. Is it possible they would try to partner with an established fed like NYWC or PWS?

I guess anything is possible but I don't think it is likely.  From what we have heard, the Northeast territory would be kind of like a finishing school so WWE would want to be very hands on with it as the talk is it would be the talents' last stop before hitting the main roster.

Usually about this time we are seeing Mania adds for PPV but there have been none. Does this mean Mania will be free this year or will it be on PPV?

This question made me laugh but since you were serious I will answer it for you.  It will not be free.  You must pay, and pay a lot!  Mania is there biggest money maker of the year.  They are not giving that sucker away for free.
