LOOKING AT THE WIN/LOSS RECORDS OF THE ENTIRE ROSTERS OF WWE AND TNA: WEEK 11

NOTES FOR WEEK 11:
Welcome to Week 11 of Darren’s Win-Loss Records Column for the week of March 12-March 18, 2012. Now, to this week’s news & notes.

First of all, last week, I moved the NXT guys to SD, since that’s where they were listed on WWE.com. But once again, WWE.com decided to move everyone back to NXT, along with Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks, who are also on the Raw page. So, I decided to put the NXT guys back under the NXT brand and leave them there for the remainder of the year, unless something drastic happens, like a draft.

On Raw, we had our first only in March re-match between Sheamus & Dolph Ziggler. We also had our 1st ever Handicap Match, making it our 36th Gimmick Match. We also had the return of Brodus Clay after a 6 week absence.

On NXT, for the 1st time ever, we had only tag team matches and no singles matches on a show. We also had our 1st ever Mixed Tag Team Match, which was the 37th Gimmick Match of the year.

On Superstars, we had a re-match between Justin Gabriel & Hunico. The last time they wrestled back in February, Cody Rhodes interfered forcing a No Contest.

On Impact, we had our 1st ever Five Minute Challenge, which was the 38th Gimmick Match of the Year. According to Kurt Angle, Garett Bischoff had to survive 5 minutes and he did, therefore Garett got the win and Angle got the loss for the match. We also had the return of Mr. Anderson, who makes his debut on the list with a win.

On Smackdown, we had AJ’s in ring debut for the year, with a victory over Nikki Bella. This week marked the 1st time in 5 weeks that Daniel Bryan has not wrestled on Smackdown and the 1st time since the Royal Rumble that he hasn’t wrestled on either Raw or Smackdown.

This week marked the only Pay-Per-View for March, as TNA held their Victory Road Pay-Per-View. This event marked the 3rd Title Change of the year for TNA and 5th overall, as Devon, making his return after not competing since January’s Genesis PPV, defeated Robbie E for the TNA World Television Championship. We also had our 38 title match of the year and 21st for TNA. The Main Event was a No Holds Barred Non-Title Match, which was the 39th Gimmick Match overall and 15th for TNA. This was also the 1st time that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship was not on the line in the main event of a TNA Pay-Per-View. The Tag Team Championship Match between Samoa Joe & Magnus and Crimson & Matt Morgan was the 3rd consecutive Pay-Per-View match between the 2 teams, making it the 1st time that one match has been held on all 3 of a company’s Pay-Per-Views. Also, a quick note, there has been a discrepancy over Frankie Kazarian’s name. Sometimes he’s listed as Frankie Kazarian, while other times he’s just listed as Kazarian. Since he was announced as Kazarian, which is what is listed on the TNA website, he will be listed as such going forward.
