AJ STYLES IN WWE HALL OF FAME, NIKKI VS. BRIE, HOW TO FAIL YOUR WWE CREATIVE JOB INTERVIEW AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-03-15 10:00:43
As we all know, the WWE Hall of Fame is not a matter of achievement, just a matter of whether or not Vince McMahon likes you.  As a matter of fact, you don?t even have to have worked for WWE & you can still get in (Sting), or you don?t even have to be a wrestler & you can still get in (Drew Carey); & yet, one guy, who I believe deserves it, who had a great look/physique, great gimmick, & great mic skills will probably not get in because he showed up on RAW & Nitro on the same night, ?Ravishing? Rick Rude.  Having said all that, my question is, assuming he, like Sting, never goes to WWE & retires in TNA, & assuming TNA doesn?t fold like WCW did, do you see WWE offering AJ Styles a spot in their Hall of Fame?  Now, I realize that WWE doesn?t care what you accomplish outside of their company (look at R-Truth & Christian, 2 former NWA World Heavyweight Champions that WWE doesn't even see on their radar), but he DID work that one match on Metal against The Hurricane.  But, is that enough to get him in?  If it is, should The Hurricane be offered a spot also (Just kidding about the Hurricane)?  Therefore, does AJ Styles deserve a spot?  Some might say; what has he accomplished in WWE?  Well, what did Drew Carey accomplish in WWE?

If TNA folded, WWE would buy the library and hire some of their talent.  One would think Styles would be high on their list.  If he ever ends up in the WWE Hall of Fame, it won't be because of an appearance on Metal.  As far as Carey, that was absolutely a move to get media attention as part of a promotional deal for his Game Show Network project.  You can see that worked out well.

I understand they are trying to have a feud with Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis over wanting to run both shows, but I don't understand the logic behind Laurinaitis even proposing Kane vs. Aksana. If you're trying to woo the board into picking you to run both shows, why would you even consider putting a woman in harms way? To me that makes him look irresponsible and it should instantly disqualify him. Of course it's all story but it just makes it look very stupid.

You are too logical and will never pass your WWE Creative job interview.

Which member of the WWE Creative Team (insert joke here) is in charge of the Womens/Divas division responsible for the current storylines such as the new Eve Torres, pushes for example involving Tamina, ideas such as the treatment of Natalya Neidhart things like that? To paraphrase Shakespeare the fault lies not in the stars but with who? Stephanie McMahon Helmsley? Vince McMahon? All of the above? The womens division for a long time was a sense of pride within the company. What happened? What in the world happened?

It's everyone's fault but Vince McMahon is ultimately responsible.

What's the latest on former Straight Edge Society member/SHIMMER star Serena Deeb? I've read where she had been battling the effects of a concussion. How is she doing? Godspeed to her.

She hasn't returned to the ring yet.

To your knowledge has WWE Divas Brie and Nikki Bella (The Bella Twins) ever wrestled one another in a match? If not, why not?

I can't remember a time when it happened, but it certainly would be a pain to call as an announcer.  As far as why, why would you destroy their aura and draw?
