JAPW SHUTTING DOWN, HAAS VS. GUNN HEADLINES FWE IN NYC, SHARK BOY, FRENCHY MARTIN AND MORE NEWS

Jersey All Pro Wrestling has announced that their 4/14 event in Rahway, NJ will be the final JAPW event.  The promotion hasn't run any events since doing their New Japan tour over the summer.  The promotion is pretty up and down when it comes to running, so I have my doubts personally this will be it.

An independent wrestler in the UK, Ricky Martin, is getting a lot of mainstream press as he's on the new season of the Apprentice there.

Memphis star The Spellbinder will make his first-ever convention appearance at the 6/2 Legends of the Ring event in New Jersey.

Family Wrestling Entertainment will return to Three Legged Dog Studios in NYC on Saturday 3/24 with Charlie Haas vs Billy Gunn, FWE Women's champion Maria Kanellis vs. Rosita, FWE Tri-Borough champion Jay Lethal vs. Damien Darling, a 20 Man Rumble, Brian Kendrick vs. Mike Bennett, Sonjay Dutt vs. Wes Draven, Rickey Reyes vs "Firebird" Jorge Santi and The Midnight Sensations vs. All Money is Legal   For more details, visit www.FWEWrestling.com.

Tommy Dreamer, Shark Boy, Tony Atlas, Robbie E and Frenchy Martin (wow, that's a name you don't hear often) will be working for ECPW on Friday 5/18 at Lynch Middle School in Amsterdam, NY as part of the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame induction ceremony weekend.  For more details, visit www.pwhf.org.
