WWE ELIMINATING THE DIVAS DIVISION?, MASCARAS NOT BEING PROMOTED FOR THE WWE HALL OF FAME AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-03-09 10:00:21

As of today how seriously is WWE promoting the fact that legendary Mil Mascaras will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? As I understand it not too much. That would be both disrespectful and a shame.

They announced him months ago and with all due respect to Mascaras, who I like personally, his name announced is not going to result in a wave of tickets being sold in rapid-fire fashion.  They announced him in the market where he means the most, Mexico, and they have three weeks left to announce him on TV.  Last year, they didn't even announce Bob Armstrong on TV, so they might not even announce Mascaras anywhere outside of WWE.com!

Do you agree with the new and much different attitude of WWE Diva Eve Torres? As I understand it she is now being portrayed as a woman of questionable actions. In a recent match against Natalya Neidhart on Smackdown as she walked out she was greeted with boos instead of cheers. Why didn't they simply turn her heel instead of making her into someone she's not?

Someone she's not?  She wasn't fliring with Zach Ryder in real life and now she's not a floozy.  She's playing a character that she's written to play, just like any other character on TV.  Do you think Natalya farts all day?  As for why they did that character, they wanted someone to play a new jezebel and now they have it.

NBA basketball legend/TNT Host Charles Barkley recently criticized the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats Michael Jordan and his pitiful record so far this year. Barkley claimed Jordan was surrounded by yes men. Persons who went along with everything he wanted without question. I've been reading the same thing reguarding Vince McMahon. Every suggestion implemented by McMahon has been fulfilled without question. No one has had the spine to say to him with all due respect I think that's a mistake. I really can't see anyone being fired for taking the bull by the horns as it were. Opinion?

If you take on Vince in his company, there's a 50 percent chance you will be out on your ass by the end of the process.  Salary, benefits, 401K vs. unemployment and facing your family over it.  You tell me.

At one time the WWE womens division or as its now the Divas division was a very improving and impressive part of the company. The women were working hard. Their matches both exciting and entertaining. All under the watchful eye of the great Fit Finley. But as they say: That was then. This is now. Now its a shell of its former self. In one word how would you describe the womens, I mean, Divas division of WWE as it stands today? What can be done to improve it? Has there ever been any discussion of eliminating the womens/divas division altogether?

There's been no talk of dropping the Divas but quite frankly, if they wanted it to improve, they'd bring Finlay back.  They are getting what they want out of the Divas.

It looked like that both Tara and Velvet Sky were hurt after both were thrown over the top rope during the 10 girl battle royal. How are they doing?

They were fine.  Just selling.
